Hey MW's we are planning our first ever September trip ... How are the crowds and weather ? Also when do the parks start shutting things down for the Halloween transitions/makeovers ? We plan on being in the park on September 11th and staying for 5 days.... We always go in May or December so we thought we would try something new.
Late September is really light. 11th should be pretty good. - Tom

On our last trip I messed up and bought a 2013 Shot Glass/Toothpick Holder instead of the 2012 one. Now there are none to be found anywhere. The big issue is that we buy one with the year every year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a fellow MWer might have an extra one lying around that they wouldn't mind parting with. I would be willing to pay a little over the original cost and shipping ... More...

Well highly disappointed .. Got there to stand on line for ever, as we are next in line the castmembers tell us that they can not let anyone in after 8:15, I look at my watch to see that it's arround 7:40. The castmember says it should be no problem for us to get in way before that. A group of four off duty castmembers approach the front of the line and are seated in front of us. A few minutes later the castmember comes back and tells us and everyone in line behind us that the manager has decided to not admit anyone else into the Cove... I look at my watch and read the timeout loud ... It's " five minutes to eight" ... All I was told is that we needed to leave the line along with everyone behind us.... Long story short No Black Pearl for us only the most disappointing guest service I have ever had at Disneyland - I know this was California Adventure , but should be the same same. - EdLovesAlvena

In line for Matters and they have us this ... We rarely get these, except here in Cars Land ... Every time we turn around they hand us one ... We must look to trusting this trip lol.
They handed me one at Luigi's Tires and I lost it. Don't know how since it was a pretty short line. Turns out I dropped it, but don't worry it was recovered and counted. - DisneyPhotoFan
