My daughter has been going since she was 1 month old. I made sure she got uses to the characters. I hate seeing kids afraid and crying with the characters and the parents are mad because they won't take pictures. Didn't want that to be us. Also have on video my daughters first steps at Disneyland. So many memories for us. As for the stroller I don't rush around the park because we are fortunate en More...

Idk yet what she'll recall but we've taken our daughter since she was about 15 months old and is now 2-1/2. She knows Disneyland. She asks to go. She remembers things I didn't think she'd remember. She gets to the parking lot of DL and gets so excited. She starts saying all the different characters! She loves it! I hope that helps a little. - NurseJennJillO

I think it depends on the child. But for my daughter we went when she was 22 months and she still talks about it and wants to go again. It may help that I do talk to her about it when she mentions stuff and she watches a lot of the home videos \from when we went. BUT she also is good at remembering things, she remembers things I told her months ago and I don't even remember until she says these things! I think 2-3 is a good age to start. I started taking my daughter at 6 months old. And even though she would get excited and squeal. She didn't really grasp the magic of who is who at Disney until a year and a half. But im glad I took her when she was so young. She doesn't mind loud noisy environments, she's bot afraid of any of the rides she can go on. It's your decision but im glad I started ny daughter young.
