So, looking at annual passes. Do they even do the ones that include both disneyland and Disneyworld together anymore? We are surprising the kids with a trio after Christmas to disneyland, then again for their birthdays in March, and then a trip to disneyworld in For my 40th in October.
Here you go:  http://tinyurl.com/ldfyo97 - CM_Shadowgamer  2360.7 #47 10:28PM
Thanks!!  - charliesmom  54.9 #4203 11:12PM
It's Premiere. The discounts aren't as good at WDW as DL. We got it for a year. It's about $1100 per year. I think the break even is 2x 4 day trips to WDW or about 10 days before a multi-day is better...unless you get room discounts in WDW. - DLKenCA  1581.9 #82 11:06PM

I'm going to say that 3 trips in one year will be more expensive if bought as multi day tickets, especially if you guys already have a Disneyland AP, you can just convert them to Premiere and pay the difference. If you do go this route and the ticket booths try to tell you they can't do it, ask to see a lead because they very much can (I had to do it the 2nd time I got a premiere pass because they tried to tell me it didn't work that way). - CM_Shadowgamer  2360.7 #47 11:46PM

We are researching to visit disneyworld next year for my 40th 🙀. But we also will be hitting up Disney land in March for a week. Would it be cheaper for us to buy the premier annual Pass in March to also cover disneyworld? We would be going to disneyworld at least 5-6 days. And probably one more visit to disneyland within the year also.
Probably NOT. Since they raised the prices I think it takes at least 10 days with 2 trips in WDW to pay for the premiere. The passes at WDW only get you 10% on merch and MANY restaurants don't give AP discounts.  Multiday passes in WDW are cheaper than here. But definitely do the math. - DLKenCA  1581.9 #82 10:12PM
It depends...what type of AP would you buy for DL for example.  Regular tickets for WDW are much less than for DL and there's lots of discounts available which may make the cost way less than the premier, which was the case for my family earlier this year.  How fun to go for your bday!!  I'm hoping to take my boys again next summer too!  😊 - MinnieMousewife  753.1 #210 10:11PM
We probably would just buy the regular pass for annual membership of the premier wouldn't save us at Disneyland.  We are not southern California residents.  - charliesmom  54.9 #4203 2:14PM
I'm in a similar position and based on current prices it is around $250 cheaper to purchase a Annual Pass for Disneyland and 5 day pass for WDW. The key point was raised by @DLKenCA, in the fact that your break even point would need to involve a minimum of 2 trips to WDW for approximately 4-5 days each... My wife and I are seeing WDW in Nov and Anaheim in Dec, so I hope that you have as much fun as we plan to and have a fantastic 40th 🎁🎁 - RapunzelledColey  58.4 #4122 11:38PM
I would have to actually do the tally to know for sure.  Make a note of how much each of your visits would be, add them up, and then compare with the pass. - GoofyMom77  481.7 #377 10:05PM

My daughter got stuck on splash mountain last night. Guess this is the only spot in the ride where they cannot get the guests out until the ride actually starts back up. She was stuck for 45 minutes!! They thanked her for her patience with a choice fast pass and a voucher for the whole family ( even the ones not on the ride!) for a yummy cooking from Poohs corner!!
That's real DL Magic! Glad she is ok. - Song  1547.8 #83 10:04PM

So I'm seeing a lot of cast members guiding big families around today. Is it just celebrities or, guess what I'm asking is how much does it cost to have a cast member guide you around all day, with fast passes and priority riding?
Around $150 an hour, six hour minimum. Max ten people per group. This price is from three years ago when we took our grandma so the price could have jumped.. - georgieporgie  180.6 #2115 11:00AM
Wow! - amyb1076  280.0 #933 11:02AM
It was worth it! I recommend it highly. They are a huge help when movin from one section of the park to another durring high traffic times and the seating that they can "arrange" is very good. - georgieporgie  180.6 #2115 11:12AM
It's now $315(regular)-$355(holiday) per hour, 6 hour minimum. I tagged along with friend of a friend 3 weeks ago who had a Plaid. She was our walking, talking fast pass. Great seating for the parade. It was nice, but I doubt I'll be booking a Plaid anytime soon. - JenGwen323  1207.6 #113 1:01PM
We had a plaid before and it was 250 and hour with a max of 6 people. We requested one again for Christmas and the uped the price to 380 and hour yikes  - tinkerbellgirl98  121.9 #3008 7:25PM
Those prices seem a bit extreme. - sawman911  660.9 #250 7:32PM
I've always wondered how much those people cost.  Thanks for the info.  At that rate I could get 3 Premium passes for the 6 hour minimum and enjoy the parks all year round! - potatohead25  562.7 #308 8:41PM

Update some ride wait times and it should adjust. - PrincessDaisy  305.1 #782 7:13PM
It was pretty crazy today- tried to update times but phone wouldn't lload MW - heidnseek  200.4 #1868 9:16PM
Entering accurate wait times helps with accurate crowd index. When it get busy like it was today it is almost impossible to enter wait times unless you are specifically there just to do that and even then it takes quite a while for just one wait time with the service in the parks being very slow due to the mass crowds.  - mini_MINNIE  980.8 #156 9:23PM

So this is a question really for cast members. I have quite a few friends with kids with autism and they are worried. They heard that Disney is changing the special Accommodation passes? Like for example I have one friend who's child becomes very upset and physical in the lines. Are they going to be expected to stand in the long lines or how are they going to change this? They are super worried t  More...
There is a lot of not so correct information floating around. As usual, until it comes from Disney directly, take anything you see with a grain of salt. That being said, there is a copy of an internal email that was posted that specifically mentions that Disney was in contact with Autism Speaks while developing the new system. Disney cares about their product and their guests, I think they will handle this with the utmost professionalism and care. - NotSoDapperDan  323.3 #690 4:56PM
There is an article on MousePlanet that actually quotes Suzi Brown and notes the Autism Speaks teamwork. (The other article that is floating around is written by Al Lutz, and that's the 'Gloom, Doom and Catastrophe' one...) - NotSoDapperDan  323.3 #690 5:01PM
Th pass will still be in place. We just don't know how it will work until it goes into effect. The people who need it will still get the pase - IDVandalSkipperCM  2119.7 #54 4:52PM
Sorry for typos. CMs are being trained this next week and the week after at which time we will likely have more information.  - IDVandalSkipperCM  2119.7 #54 4:56PM
Sounds great!  Please keep us informed, we're coming Veterans' Day weekend and my son, Jack, lives with high functioning autism.  We've had a GAC for our last 2 trips and found it made life better for us as well as other guests! - BombFrogFormerCM  703.4 #224 5:30PM
This was just on the news. Training for cast members doesn't start till tomorrow. I know mine is this coming weekend. We honestly have no information at this time... - CM_Tamstirr  542.9 #322 5:31PM
I would like to know more when you find out.  My son doesn't sweat, literally does not sweat so we used a GAC pass whenever the line was out in the sun on hot days (thankfully not many) but I wonder if we won't get it at all if we visit now.  - charliesmom  54.9 #4203 5:36PM
We're coming Veterans' Day weekend with our son, his service dog and all if the documentation.  We've never been asked for our son, Jack, proof of living with high functioning autism but we do bring it.  We have been asked for Scotchie's papers and he is tagged and harnessed as an autism service dog.  See you in less than 50 days... - BombFrogFormerCM  703.4 #224 5:34PM
They can't ask for documentation because that's against ADA policy.  - charliesmom  54.9 #4203 5:41PM
I know about HIPPA and ADA, but always bring it just in case as most ask about our dog even though he has his ADA ID card. - BombFrogFormerCM  703.4 #224 7:06PM

Other than the preferred seating for fantasmic, is there any thing else that gets you good seats? I want my 3 year old son to see the dragon. We are thinking of doing the preferred seating just so the kids would have a good view. This trip is a special trip and cost is no problem.
If price is not a problem and this trip is special, I wouldn't leave it to chance to try and get a good spot by luck or have to wait two hours to save a spot. Do the dessert package and save yourself the hassle. Enjoy! - MrsSchnooks  2780.2 #36 11:29AM

The wall behind the command center - PrincessDaisy  305.1 #782 1:36PM
I second what PrincessDaisy says. It's the middle light tower right behind the command console for the show. Many people think the lights will stay down and block your view, but about 10 min before show it goes up and you have a great view of show center. - Sarafina  440.1 #426 3:01PM
Yes as princessdaisy said I myself had no idea you could stand there so moved further back but If I would've known I would've stayed there - princessb5  164.3 #2361 4:08PM
The prefered seating is great. The desert box and all you can drink service is a great experience too. On my profile page is a link to my YouTube channel where you can watch Fantasmic! from the prefered seating area. - CantWait  1109.7 #131 2:01PM
If your kid can hold out until the 10:15 show, it's much less crowded and less of a wait. Otherwise get there early, lay a blanket down and save a spot about an hour before. Anywhere in the front is great. I've never sat in the reserved seating. but it's pretty good and would have a great view. Would save waiting if you can't find one person to save the spot. - DLKenCA  1581.9 #82 2:07PM
