How crazy busy do you think it is going to be on the actual Halloween night? We have tickets for the Halloween party that night.

The same as any other MHP night. - sawman911  1272.0 #128 8:57PM
Cracra  - DarthFairy  262.7 #1192 8:59PM
Since they limited the tickets to a certain amount, I think it's going to be ok. I tried to buy tickets for that night in August, but they were sold out already πŸ˜”  - DayDreamsOfDisneyland  4.8 #18683 9:01PM
Yeah we lucked out and got 8. There are some for sale on eBay  - charliesmom  63.2 #4222 9:43PM
I got my tickets for 10/31 a week after they went on sale in July and was almost sold out. I think only like 1000 available unless your a hotel guest then you won't have any issues.  - msbobins  7.3 #0 11:38PM

We had a great time at Disneyland this year. Although the adults got worn out!! Was cold the first 2 days and then yesterday it was warm! Was sad that the fireworks were cancelled last night but it was windy! Can't wait until next year   More...

Thanks everyone. Not sure what he's going to think. I'm not going to make him go on it since there will be others not going on it, but rather give him the choice. He hasn't done Matterhorn yet because he wasn't tall enough last January. We are hoping he will ride it this year, because he's tall enough now.  - charliesmom  63.2 #4222 7:48PM
My son was always hesitant but my daughter stood as tall as she could for every ride. Let him decide but nothing scary or too fast for a little guy. - ShariRenee  6442.6 #16 7:56PM

Is there a place in disneyland where we can meet Baymax?

In the back of Star Trader (by Space Mountain). - Yeti_Ing  63.9 #4208 9:01PM
Yes, next to space moutain exit in Tomorrowland there is an area that you can meet Hiro and Baymax. Baymax is not guaranteed but we were able to meet him a few weeks ago.  - Danierob  78.6 #3872 9:01PM

Are the fantastic fast passes just a standing viewing area? We are looking to get some seated ones. Do they still do reservations like that?

I don't think there ever was seating for this show unless you are in a wheelchair section. I have not been in a while has it changed?! - Plumiegirl  9515.2 #5 9:47PM
They had seating with the dessert package which is now gone. Everything is standing only with the fast passes unless you sign up for a dinner at several restaurants. - secretagentangel  2434.7 #53 9:53PM
I'd bump the post but can't remember who posted it!! - secretagentangel  2434.7 #53 9:53PM
There is a special preferred seated area that you can pay for. You get special deserts, cheese crackers, fruit bento box with coffee and cocoa.  - Boundin  621.0 #313 9:51PM
That's gone now, they went to a fast pass system with restaurant reservations getting reserved areas like WOC does.  - secretagentangel  2434.7 #53 10:04PM

So, looking at annual passes. Do they even do the ones that include both disneyland and Disneyworld together anymore? We are surprising the kids with a trio after Christmas to disneyland, then again for their birthdays in March, and then a trip to disneyworld in For my 40th in October.

Here you go: - CM_Shadowgamer  2500.0 #51 10:28PM
Thanks!!  - charliesmom  63.2 #4222 11:12PM
It's Premiere. The discounts aren't as good at WDW as DL. We got it for a year. It's about $1100 per year. I think the break even is 2x 4 day trips to WDW or about 10 days before a multi-day is better...unless you get room discounts in WDW. - DLKenCA  2516.8 #49 11:06PM

I'm going to say that 3 trips in one year will be more expensive if bought as multi day tickets, especially if you guys already have a Disneyland AP, you can just convert them to Premiere and pay the difference. If you do go this route and the ticket booths try to tell you they can't do it, ask to see a lead because they very much can (I had to do it the 2nd time I got a premiere pass because they tried to tell me it didn't work that way). - CM_Shadowgamer  2500.0 #51 11:46PM

We are researching to visit disneyworld next year for my 40th πŸ™€. But we also will be hitting up Disney land in March for a week. Would it be cheaper for us to buy the premier annual Pass in March to also cover disneyworld? We would be going to disneyworld at least 5-6 days. And probably one more visit to disneyland within the year also.

Probably NOT. Since they raised the prices I think it takes at least 10 days with 2 trips in WDW to pay for the premiere. The passes at WDW only get you 10% on merch and MANY restaurants don't give AP discounts.  Multiday passes in WDW are cheaper than here. But definitely do the math. - DLKenCA  2516.8 #49 10:12PM
It depends...what type of AP would you buy for DL for example. Β Regular tickets for WDW are much less than for DL and there's lots of discounts available which may make the cost way less than the premier, which was the case for my family earlier this year. Β How fun to go for your bday!! Β I'm hoping to take my boys again next summer too!  😊 - MinnieMousewife  895.9 #194 10:11PM
We probably would just buy the regular pass for annual membership of the premier wouldn't save us at Disneyland.  We are not southern California residents.  - charliesmom  63.2 #4222 2:14PM
I'm in a similar position and based on current prices it is around $250 cheaper to purchase a Annual Pass for Disneyland and 5 day pass for WDW. The key point was raised by @DLKenCA, in the fact that your break even point would need to involve a minimum of 2 trips to WDW for approximately 4-5 days each... My wife and I are seeing WDW in Nov and Anaheim in Dec, so I hope that you have as much fun as we plan to and have a fantastic 40th 🎁🎁 - RapunzelledColey  127.9 #3013 11:38PM
I would have to actually do the tally to know for sure.  Make a note of how much each of your visits would be, add them up, and then compare with the pass. - GoofyMom77  729.1 #254 10:05PM
