In the park now, FINALLY after a big ticket mess. My friend's little brother is a CM at DCA. My friend was blocked today so her brother gave her one of his comp tickets. Well it's one you print out, we went to DCA first and the CM has a hard time scanning the barcode, instead of asking for help he keys it in. Juan was a gate cm who gave me a hard time last year. I had been signed in (blockout date) and my "hubby" and I split up for a few hours, but were going to meet up later. Unbeknownst to us, our tickets had been mixed up in the morning and the cm berated me in front of everyone and would not listen when I tried to explain that I just had the wrong ticket. He wouldn't give it back to me either. Hubs had to leave the fantastic dessert seating to clear up the snafu. I am so sorry to hear about all of the rude people. There is no excuse for anyone to act in such a way, but when it happens to our family in the parks, we just try to remember that there are many families out there who might be at Disney for the first and/or only time. We just pretend that the rude or aggressive behavior stems from this and that they are just super anxious to do and see everything. We just try to calm ourselves by reminding ourselves of how lucky we are to live in California and be AP holders so that we can visit Disney often. This helps a little.
