Dessert is always a treat at the Chef's Counter. Chocolate pate and strawberry mascarpone cannoli, Peach cake with fresh peach and peach sorbet, warm dark chocolate truffle cake with Baileys Coffee ice cream. Did not get a pic of the last dessert which was an apple pastry.
The 4 entrees we got at the Chef's Counter. Braised short rib. Black cod with cauliflower almond couscous, grilled tangerine relish and blood orange sauce. Free range chicken. Grilled beef fillet tenderloin and fried polenta.
Some of the starter courses from Chef's Counter last night. Upper left ahi tartare, crusted halibut with beef fries, roasted dove, cucumber wrapped shrimp. Pheasant with gala apples green beans and apple purée. Salmon with fresh matsutake mushrooms. Baby roasted beets, greens with Hawaiian sea salt garnish.
