This will most likely get buried fast but yesterday I had the Caesar salad at the Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland and I was so hungry that I ate it before I remembered to take a pic :) but I thought it was so good. Very close to the El Torito version. (The one with cilantro dressing and pumpkin seeds) The CM said that the head chef there was actually from El Torito. I will definitely be eating t More...
FYI for my fellow non-chocolate lovers!!! You can get a Matterhorn Macaroon without white chocolate :) I was so happy to learn this that I just had to share with y'all! I hate that USUALLY chocolate ends up on/in everything.
I don't have an awesome pic of Her Highness Princess Carmen but I do know that she must be feelin' sooooo much lovin' today! You all rock at makin' someone's day! @PC I hope you have a great birthday! You are always welcoming, kind, and smiling to our MW community! Thank you :) your mama should be proud.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
