Which would you pick? Upper level theme park view at Paradise Pier or Standard View room at the Grand CA. Additional perks at PP include use of pools at the Grand and DL Hotel since the PP Pool is under construction. Yes, I know I wrote PP pool.

I have stayed at all 3 multiple times. SOS is right. Sitting on the balcony is the best. The best rooms in the whole resort are at the Grand in the DVC wing. Best of both worlds. Balcony and view of WOC. I would put PP upper level view room over DL hotel. - SueBayou 2012.0 #34 1:29PM

Discovered this morning that we are blocked out on the first day of our trip in Feb and the PP hotel can't slide the res over by a day. Wondering what might a good option on our black out day? We could buy tix but I am thinking this might be an opportunity to show my 8 and 10 yr old something else cool around LA. Suggestions?

Not sure what time you are arriving, but when we got to Disneyland a day early we took that opportunity to eat at goofy's diner and walk around DTD. Made us even more excited for the next day in the park. - rdaann 274.2 #791 11:10AM

I need a break from reality so I went on Priceline this morning and "stuck it to the man. Got the Crowne plaza for 45 a night tonight an tomorrow. As soon as school is out I am throwing the 10 yr old in the truck and we are driving down from the bay area. Should be some good father son bonding time

I think it just means its a room that does not overlook the DCA park. Last time I booked standard view at Paradise Pier, they upgraded us to a room that overlooked DCA for free (I guess b/c they weren't full?) we didn't even ask for it - it was just a fun surprise when we got to our room! - MissAcroBRAT 201.3 #1612 9:40AM
