Renewing our passes just renewed all that magical excitement Disney brings!! Even more exciting cause our 3 year old got his AP! Wish i had remembered to take his pic as he excitedly took his AP pic. Loving the magic!
Having DL withdrawals...haven't been able to go. Had to work today, I work about 10 minutes from DL and had quite a few out of towners as patients today who are visiting the parks and had to mention MW. Most downloaded it....anyone else mention or brag about the awesomeness of MW to people who are visiting and unaware if this app?
Randomly, I was thinking about and missing Disneyland then thought about how I have yet to meet or bump into any MW'ers. I haven't been able to do a meet up, but I am wondering how or if you have ever figured out who's a MW'er while your at the parks by any particular way...I can't say that I've ever seen any MW'ers while I've been but am aware they can be everywhere!!
My weather app tells me it's going to rain this weekend :(
We had a whole Disney weekend planned. I really hope it doesn't rain because I can't imagine toting the kids around DL in the rain! Think it'll rain?
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
