UPDATE: I'm a month early! But when you've been going to DL for over 50 years, what's a few weeks, right!? 😁. While putting My MW story together I realized that yesterday was my MW-iversary! 🎉 A year ago on May 12, I got my courage up and went to my first MW meetup. Wallie05 was the organizer, and I met so many wonderful people, many of whom I'm now very close to. Twinklelashes (my carpool buddy!), Suuz, PieRatAl, Mimmy, JenAnne, Mickey74,Shel, HipHopDisney, JenInWonderland....hope I didn't miss anyone love you all! 😍
I took another look...and I FAILED! I was actually in Kansas City on May 12' 2011! At my advancing age I get to have mistakes! So... I'll just re-post this next month! - gia0330

I've been feeling nostalgic today, with it being Mother's Day, and decided to give this video thing a whirl. So...here's #MyMouseWaitStory! (I really hope this works!).
Happy Mother's Day! In honor of my mother, this is my favorite photo of her at DL. She needed to sit down while Dad and I ordered at Hungry Bear so she sat at a cashier's station and entertained my daughter by spinning in the chair pretending she was on the Tea Cups (which she would never ride!). Mama is still with us, but Alzheimer's has taken away her spark. I hope that I can be at least half the woman/mother/friend that she has been!

I like how you've got a grip on the ears at the front of the log! I've never gotten too soaked on splash but my husband and I were at the back of the log with three kids up from in a separate party and poor boy in the front got completely drenched after the first drop, we rounded a corner and a wave just pummeled him! As a coffee who likes her coffee very "bold" with sugar, I'm trying to make the switch to Truvia. But I've noticed it's a bit bitter. Am I using too much? Or is the taste something I should just get used to?
It could be that you're using too much. Stevia, the sweetener in truvia, is bitter if you use too much. - vernswifevickie

I used to put two teaspoons of sugar in my coffee. Now I am using agave without any problems or aftertaste. - DesperateMousewife

Today was weigh-in day for me. Lost 2 lbs. this past week. Kinda expected less after this weekend's feast! Must have been all the gardening and yard clean up and flipping mattresses that helped!
Thank goodness for those extra WW points I still had! Last night's feast at Bubbaloo's meetup really had me dipping into them! 3 days til I weigh in, so I'll just have to really watch my daily limit closely!
