What are the resort hotel discounts like for an annual premium pass holder? We are not premium pass holders, but are considering it. I found a lot of information about dining discounts, but not resort hotel discounts. Thanks for the information.
If you log onto their website you can get info on all of their discounts. Just click on tab "annual pass holders" - fab5  25.4 #5612 12:19PM
I did. But because I'm not an annual pass holder I received no information. - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  43.9 #4519 12:26PM
I would call and tell them you are considering getting the AP and they should be able to help. You are my fellow Texan, right? I have found that if you are going more than once a year that one family member should upgrade to premium for the better discount in the parks. - Thumper13  354.9 #572 1:38PM
Yes. We try and go twice a year. We were there in June, and we will be back in October :) - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  43.9 #4519 2:17PM
When I've checked, it seems like it's usually between 20-30%.  I don't think it's an all-the-time, standing offer, though.  It varies and they periodically offer it at certain points throughout the year.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  526.6 #336 12:22PM
Thank you. This is helpful. I may call and ask some questions. I'm thinking that with at least one of us having an annual pass the discounts would be worth it! - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  43.9 #4519 12:28PM
If you stay at least 6 nights and just went and going again you should get an annual pass. We have deluxe and only go 3-4 days each time but as long as we go 2 times the pass pays for itself. So you don't need to get the premium, just the deluxe  - brodysmommy  334.8 #627 2:29PM
Hotels I don't think it matters. But Premium gets 20% instead of 10% on merchandise and 15% instead of 10% on most food. Premium also comes with parking. - DLKenCA  1513.5 #82 2:40PM

Can anyone give me any thoughts regarding the Candy Cane Inn near Disneyland? We usually stay at the Grand, but now I'm thinking I'd like to save some money on our upcoming trip. I booked the Grand at $573 per night. The Candy Cane is $189 per night. We are staying 6-nights. I love the Grand, and I'm feeling torn with saving money or going with what I know I like. 😩

Candy Cane is fine but of course nothing compares to the Grand. With the $$ savings you can have a lot of extra dining/shopping money. Did you try HOJO? They have MW discount and a great pool/play area.  - ShariRenee  4070.9 #22 12:39PM
Yes, I did. They were booked. - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  43.9 #4519 3:00PM
We stay at the hojo now but the Candy Cane inn is really nice too. Clean, comfy and close to the park. :) - LoveDland  320.4 #695 3:01AM

These photos were taken several weeks ago. We had so much fun! I highly recommend the photo pass. It was so nice to come home and re-live the magic through the pictures. My husband and I decided last night that we'll be taking the kids out of school and returning to the parks in October for the Halloween festivities. We can't wait! The one thing I always regret when visiting the parks is not taking enough family pictures or least pictures of the kids. So I purchased the photo pass plus for our upcoming trip. Has anyone had any experience with this?
Yes we take one with us every trip. It's well worth the $ because you get all the photographers pics plus all the attraction pics & all the character dining pics. - UTDISNEYFAMILY  1176.1 #112 3:40PM
Thank you. I didn't realize the character dining is included. - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  43.9 #4519 3:50PM
Last time I used it was around $60 for as many discs as it took to get the pics from our multi day trip. They always come out pretty good and the extra features were nice (and free).  - 559MickeyLover  309.4 #743 3:41PM
It's $69.95 now. We'll be in the parks for 5-days so I figured we should get more than our $$ worth. - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  43.9 #4519 3:52PM

My husband and I planned a week long trip to Vegas. We booked a flight, purchased concert tickets, and arranged for my parents to take care of the kids ages 8 and 5. However, my question is on June 4th and 6th is "grad night" how will that impact the parks? Should we plan to stay away on t  More...

We'll be taking them out of school as a HUGE surprise! Question: do the Disneyland Halloween party tickets sell out fast? We have 6-day park hoppers and used the last of the days today. Does anyone know how much it would cost to upgrade them to annual passes? Is it even possible? My husband just mentioned it to me and of course we're leaving tomorrow. Just asking ... thanks.
You would have to do it today if you don't have a ticket for tomorrow. Ask at any ticket booth. - ScooterMike  1961.4 #61 7:44PM
if it is still valid today, just deduct the price of your 6-day park hopper ticket to 649 (if you want a Premium AP) - otilegna  1779.5 #69 7:37PM
We just did this and upgraded to Deluxe AP's. The cost was $218 each, which is worth it even if you only come back for 2-3 days in the next year. - MightyWhitey  1026.7 #142 8:18PM
You must infact upgrade today though, go to ticket booth #5 towards the west end of the DL entrance and be prepared to tell them what was the first day of use for your parkhopper - MightyWhitey  1026.7 #142 8:25PM
And also which park you entered first. - MightyWhitey  1026.7 #142 8:25PM
Does the price you pay for your hopper, go towards the total cost of an AP? Say, I have a 3 day at $250. Will it deduct the $250 from the $460 of the AP, leaving you with a $200 or so balance? Does my ramble make sense? Do you know? What's the weather like? 😂 I'm thinking I'll do this for my son... - DisneyFanZoe  1106.9 #129 8:28PM
Yes, the amount you paid for the PH is deducted from the price of your AP. Do it!! Oh and the weather in the Bay Area is lovely! - LaPearleNoir  1173.8 #114 8:33PM

@MightyWhitey, thanks for the information. We came using Disney travel so it was unclear to me what the cost of the 6-day park hopper was; they don't itemize. My husband was going to inquire at the ticket booth :) - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  43.9 #4519 9:41PM
We got our six day PH ticket at a discount through Getawaytoday.com but only had to pay the difference from the full gate price. We were pleasantly surprised. - MightyWhitey  1026.7 #142 9:51PM
