Is there still a way to search by user name? I'm trying to find the Refurb Schedule post but having no luck. We used to be able to search by user name but when I search now it just brings up a bunch of posts that have limited info about refurbs but not the official refurb post. TIA for your help.
Anyone else having trouble with the mobile app?
I can't get it to open. It starts to open then just closes. I tried shutting the app, shutting down my iPhone, & deleting the app and reinstalling it but still can't get it to open. Just wondering if it is just me or if others are having problems too.
Why do I get an email every time someone comments on my post? I don't have automatic emails or push notifications checked in my profile. Is there something else I need to do to stop every comment from going to my email?
For all of you that have been lucky enough to ride RSR, how would you compare it to other rides? Is it a thrill ride or not too scary? I don't do Space Mountain or Screamin and I'm just trying to get an idea what it's like.
Has anyone else heard the rumors about Nemo, Autopia, & Innoventions being replaced by new attractions in the next few years. I was reading about it on Mice chat and wondered what you all have heard about it. Sorry if this has already been discussed, I did a search and couldn't find anything.
So, I saw a few posts from Dusty this morning but most of them are gone now. He said he got permission from Admin to come back. When I tried to comment on them they disappeared. Anybody know what's up?
Can anyone tell me if Nov 9th and 10th is a good time to go to Disneyland? It's a Wednesday and Thursday. How can I find out which attractions are closed and what the park hours are? I checked the Disney website but it only shows through
October. I remember a couple of years ago the calendar went three months out. Hoping someone can help.
I've heard other MWers post about watching the fireworks from the HoJo's webcam but when I tried this was all I saw. Could hardly tell they were fireworks. Does it look this way to everyone who watches from the web cam or am I doing something wrong?
Im just wondering if anyone else thinks all the RAKs should have their own lounge. Don't get me wrong I think all the RAKs are a really positive thing and people are very generous. They are in the spirit of Disney for sure but it seems like every other post is a RAK and if you're not into them that much it makes it hard to weed through to get to the regular posts. I guess maybe I should just sc More...
I need help deciding when to plan our next trip. The times we have open are from mid March to mid May and from the 1st of October to mid November. My main concern is to avoid the crowds. We only get to go once every year or two so we don't want to spend our time waiting in long lines. We are planning on being in the parks for only two days. I'm hoping all of you who know the parks a lot bette More...
Does anyone know when the Gay Days celebration is? I'm trying to plan around the crowds on Columbus Day, Gay Days, & Holloween. Also when do they start closing the park early for the Halloween Time celebrations?
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
