Haven't posted on here in a couple of years but I recently became an AP again and have a question. My gf and I are going to the cars land opening on June 15th and I'm trying to figure out the best plan of attack. I've never been to a Disneyland opening day for an attraction let alone a whole land among other things opening that day. So I'm not sure what to expect. The only thing I am expecting is More...
will you be heading there from home or a hotel? i can imagine that the Esplande will be packed and that they may do some sort of crowd control/ lining up like they did on Feb 29th-heading out to Harbor. just my guess - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint

How come it seems every line I'm in there's this group of people who push their way through the line to find their party in line. " oh sorry my(insert family member here) is ahead and I'm going to try and push the 10 adults with me and our 47 children to the front of the line, cuz we didn't feel like waiting like the everyone else" sorry for the negativity just had to vent.

The best is when someone cut in front of us in line for SM. Just to find out her kid was too little to ride. That's what ya get when u don't follow the rules an go in where u are supposed to and get the kids measured. It was classic to get to watch her in disbelief as she had to leave!! - disneygurl55

What's the biggest sacrifice(other than financially) you have made to go on a trip to Disneyland? Even if it was just for a day, whats something important you missed to go?

I still feel guilty about this. Last year, one of my close relatives whom I always go to Disneyland with, wanted to go once to WDW with her child. She planned a whole trip for us and all the details, dinners, etc. Then the day before we were to leave, she had to have emergency surgery and she insisted that I go and let someone in her family take her place and take her child with us (which we were planning to do.) The doctors were telling her that she was very bad and it was possible that she might not survive without the surgery. I really didn't want to go at that point, but she was so upset to think that her child couldn't go, so I ended up going with another relative and her child. Thankfully, after many weeks of recovery, she is doing much better. So we have planned a trip to Disneyland soon, since she couldn't go last time. I feel like a really bad person to have gone while she was so sick, though. And I had fun, which is even worse. - ally
