Yes, I can cook adobo but I also make a mean pierogi. Many moons ago I was a CM for one glorious summer at DL in outdoor vending. Favorite attractions: Peter Pan, POTC and Small World. And yes you can just call me Polk.
Hidden Mickey Extreme: in the DCA Trolley Treats candy store candy mountain window display, a hidden Mickey hat is on top of a tiny snowman in the tunnel that is covered by the wood. It's really hard to see and my pic only shows one of the ears. Sorry if it's been posted before.
Today this little munchkin turns 3 and it's the day my AP expires. I have had so many wonderful experiences and met lots of awesome folks because of DL and MW. Thanks to everyone who makes this a great app thru quality posts, beautiful photography, ridiculous auto spell checks, sarcasm, humor and endless generosity. It's amazing how large it's grown and I'm proud of the "younger generations" that More...
Sorry if this has already been posted but they released a new R2D2 ears hat today with a moveable knob and the surface is painted foam instead of felt. The change in texture makes it look more droid-like.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
