Hey MWers! It's been a long time and oh how I've missed you all. I have a quick request, a desperate groveling beg if I may. My annual pass as well as my girlfriend's will be expiring next week and we are making a last ditch attempt to visit the land before it expires. The thing is I heard through the grapevine that if you buy a recently used ticket from someone on the last day they use it you cou More...
Hey everyone! I'm a noob to Mouse Wait but I've been in love with Disneyland since I was a kid. My very first trip I was still in utero! I've gone every year of my life and even chose to go to college in Fullerton just so I could be closer to DL. Well after a year down south I moved back up to northern California and have missed My Disney "home" ever since. This coming week will be my first trip b More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
