The "other" look was only for a limited time for merchandise on the day of her coronation.
I think the newer look fits in with the rest of the princesses, not that I agree with it.They've sexed all of them up. People don't like it, so all of them should be changed back, not just Merida. I get what others are saying about her being a non traditional princess, but think about merchandising. When you have all of the princesses together on a tee shirt, you want them to look cohesive.
