Husband and I ate lunch at Plaza Inn yesterday. Haven't eaten there in 15 years. Maybe we hit a bad day but the food was so dreadful Disney should be ashamed for serving this to people. The "baked" chicken is actually steamed and has the enemic color of boiled chicken on the outside and is underdone pink on the inside. The spaghetti had very watery sauce. A real disappointment, especially at More...
Update on Give a Day Get a Disney Day tickets! We went to City Hall this morning and a wonderful cm traded in my unused green passes and gave me attraction readmission passes in their place (yippee 'cause these are good for any ride except tsmm, not just fp rides). In the future she said to do the fp trade in with them in city hall instead of out in the middle area. After city hall gives you the More...
First off, what a great app! My group and I have not only found the wait time and closures info to be very accurate and useful, we've also had fun spotting and entering wait times as we've gone through both parks. Today is our off day (4 day tickets), but we'll be rared and ready to go again tomorrow morning!
My question is this: has anyone out there had any experience using the Give a Day Ge More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
