We've taken pictures of the kids by the little door on the White Rabbits house (The side of the Mad Hatter store) on most of our trips. My favorite though is my husband and I went to Disneyland on my 30th birthday while I was 6 months pregnant with our first child. He took a picture of me standing next to the Tomorrowland sign at the entrance. 10 years later for my 40th birthday (and a few days be More...
I have the MW one but now I'm wondering what the Disney branded ones will look like. Will they just have the Disney logo or actual characters? There are times when more than one wouldn't be bad with both my husband and I...
We are always mortified by how much trash people just leave on the ground next to their car and drive away. Last trip we had to dodge the dirty diaper from the car next to us, already gone. I just don't get some people!
There is so much to do in Downtown Disney and the hotels. Go into The World of Disney and let them pick out autograph books so they are ready to go the second they get into the park the next day. Love all the musicians throughout. There are many great places to eat or get a treat. There is of course the movie theater there as well. We've had fun trips just doing just Downtown Disney before. I've never been face with needing to move closer. But the idea of ever needing to move away kills me. I don't know that I could survive ever having too. Disneyland is about an hour and a half away from me which can seem too long on some days. But it's at least doable when I need my fix.
Not a food item, but I am addicted to the sweet green tea with the foam on it from Flo's. I crave that all the time! I wish I knew what brand it was so I could see if I could find it outside the parks. Though that might be dangerous to my waistline if I did find it LOL
Just curious. I hope you don't mind me asking. Do they give you a list of areas around the park that are set aside for "use". I've not seen those signs before, but then again I've not needed to look for them either.
It changes depending on which gate we come in from, which has a bigger crowd, if we're going to City Hall or the bathrooms tucked around the side of the old Bank. Recently my son wants to grab the Spanish map because he's learning Spanish so we go right for that. If the parade is going on we go left. Always depends.
There are lockers on Main Street where you can charge your phone for a small fee. Having a portable charger helps a lot as well. It is unadvisable to use the outlets around the parks as you could find your phone fried from a power surge. There is WiFi around the parks but it not for guests to use.
I went that year as well! I actually went both '88 and '89, one as a guest and one as the graduate (not telling which is which). I read the dress code to a T and found a way to wear pants instead of a dress. Had to have a matching jacket but I made it work :)
I have one. I love it! It came in very handy New Years Eve when my phone decided to think it had a low battery and shut down even though it wasn't dead. Charged it back up so it would last me the rest of the night. I was so glad I had it! It's a nice size as well. I could hold it and my phone in my hand with no problems.
