Happy Sunday MWers! So I have read conflicting info many places online about fast passes. Some say you can use it any time after return time (i.e. it never expires), others say it expires 15 minutes after end of return window...so how is this currently working at the park?
Return times are generally enforced now.   - Alicewhoareyou  1130.4 #126 12:41PM
You have to use it within the return time window - arieldonald  18.6 #6610 12:42PM
It changed about a year ago. They are strictly enforced unless the ride is down during your return time. Then they are good any time that day. - DLKenCA  1581.7 #82 12:49PM
Enforce them as they do, it's a good thing. Waiting in queue for RSR for three hours bc peeps wanted to be on it during twilight wasn't fun. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  4104.7 #23 12:56PM

hello! newbie here. will be at DLAND April 14-18. I have been many times. this is my first trip with my children. So excited. Found mousewait and getting into the Disney spirit. My middle child has autism and I have been waiting to share my favorite place for a long time. unfortunately the guest service pass was done away with, and we were banking on that, so wish us luck lol! but i am so excited!  More...
Welcome to MW! You can get something known as a DAS card for your autistic child. If you need more info about that feel free to ask. Enjoy your Disneyland visit! - missmimi90  1403.1 #94 11:22PM
I read there was something similar to fastpass now but it didn't explain how it worked. Was going to call guest services but if you have info I'm all ears ;-) - PirateMama  4.2 #19555 11:36PM
when you get to Disneyland, or DCA go into city hall and request a DAS card.  It is NOT  a fastpass but a way for people with disabilities to avoid the long lines but still have to wait the normal time.  be prepared to explain your situation, most CM"s are more than wonderful about it, if not, ask for someone else, you are your child's advocate. it is for six max  guests  and for the duration of your trip or two weeks if you have an AP and if you ask for a six pass, you must have all six with you when you get the pass.  They will give you choice of which attraction you want to go on and your wait time will be the current one minus 10 minutes.  you then can go to the attraction and wait and take it easy or get your child ready to go on it or eat or whatever.  then you go in the das line so you won't have to be around a lot of other people that will get your child too upset, but yet you did wait for the attraction just like everyone else, just in your own way.  when you are done with the attraction, you go to one of the DAS stations, say, fantasyland or by HM and ask for another pass for an attraction.  this keeps it fair for everyone. hope this info helps, city hall will tell you the rest!!! - secretagentangel  1252.3 #103 11:56PM
Thank you! I just saw Disney finally updated website with info on this. It wasn't there a month or so ago. I have no problem asking and advocating, heck I'd show them our enormous binder of all things diagnostic and iep related but that's a HIPPA no no lol. - PirateMama  4.2 #19555 12:18AM
