Hey guys! I know you all have mentioned that rainy days at DL are great, with smaller crowds, etc...Does that include weekends? Weather report is calling for drizzle Saturday! 
Hard to say. It usually takes more than a drizzle to discourage the masses. But it might be enough to keep the wimpiest away. - PrinceCorey

I love rainy days there, but my friend that isn't obsessed with DL as much says, "You don't have the sense to come out of the rain." - ZombieJerky

Rainy days are def a favorite of mine. Crowds are way less. Even when we had those storms a couples weeks ago there were a couple days when I didn't rain too bad but bc it was in the forecast the crowds still stayed away. I love me some short lines/walk ons - Markandmylady

Quick question...when it says that the height requirement for California Screamin' is 48", does that mean alone, or even with an adult? My 46"er really wants to ride it! Thanks!
The have to be that tall to get on it at all. With or with out an adult. - Simplytink

Its 48" no matter what. My friend's 6 year old just barely went on for the first time last month. - Elphiero

I've been a rides manager at a theme park and I am in middle of both if these arguments. they do go over an inch or so when they make the ride requirment. 1 inch will not matter, more than that will! And that is the cause of a lot of accidents. But if an inch or less is preventing riding, it's nit a saftey issue, it's just a picky cast member or a picky cast member trainer. I do however remember a horrific accident involving a kid who was let on 3 inches shorter than the heighth and he slipped out of the harness....it was very sad. - Djoasis

Wow! Thank you so much for the information! I had no intention of stuffing shoes or messing with her height, I just wasn't sure if the 48" meant alone and under 48" could ride with an adult. Nothing in the world is worth risking the safety of my child!! Thanks, guys!! - Cassandra

So the weather for next week just keeps getting better and better! Mid 70's and sunny! Are we in shorts and sundresses in weather like that?? Sorry to keep asking, but it's hard to pack when I'm in the middle of a blizzard in CT! Thanks in advance!!
Layer, layer, layer! It will most likely feel warmer to you than the residents of SoCal since we're climatized. It warms up mid day but mornings and evenings can be chilly. HTH and have a wonderful trip! - JanLea

Here's a tip for you. Locker rentals are good all day so you can put your extra layers away during the day and retrieve them when it cools down at night. Have a great trip! - Coaster

@Cassandra have you checked out the SoCal CitiPass? It's a $ saver. I've been able to get it at Costco for cheeper than at there website. Great deal for SD zoo, Seaworld, Disney, and Universal. Thought I'd pass tip along. Have a great trip! - NikkiMickey

Seaworld! Happy to hear you are doing Legoland. Love it there! Be sure to get their apple fries up
by the play area. They're the best! Costco has great prices too for tix. They have one right down the hill from Legoland. A great outlet too! - Lovemypbj

Very easy. The best time to do a meet and greet is early in the morning when parks open. Main street is a hot area swhere most of the characters hang out. Later in the afternoon over at the carnation bar where the piano is Alice, the mad hatter, Mary poppins - Gadgetman

Can you guys give me advice on packing for our trip to Disneyland next week? We are in CT. I've looked on weather.com, but not sure what 60degrees is like in CA? Swimming weather? Shorts? Jeans? Flip flops? Uggs? Jackets? It's me and my husband and 2 kids (6 & 8) thanks in advance for any help!!
Shorts or jeans, cool at night so you need sweatshirts. Pools are heated, so plan to swim. It may rain this weekend, but I DL ponchos!
Have a magical time! - 5ryans1

More great advice! Thank you! Okay, how about this? Tuesday we check out of LaCosta. Should we do the zoo, or head right to Disney? Leaving Sunday morning (2/21). - Cassandra

Do the zoo! We live in SD and my kids never get tired of it. The Sea Lion Show is a lot of fun and the pandas are really cute. - Ladystrac
