It's the last night in disney and we have had a great three days. As a first timer I was impressed. This place really is magical. Our experience has been tip notch. Were riding autopia and then off to finish it out with it's a small world at the 5 year olds request. Thanks to all the MW peeps who answered my calls for tips and advice. This app really made the whole trip better. Admin rocks and so More...

Taking the kids back for our first night tine experience. They both took 3 hour naps after our magic morning. What should we do besides the obvious electric parade/fireworks. Kids are 6 and 1? Thanks peeps.

Good people of MW. Day 2 at DL starts tomorrow and I need a great lunch spot. I'd like to sit down with my family and enjoy a good lunch. Not pizza and hot dogs. I'm at Disneyland waiting for the start of the parade on main street. This is so much fun. I'm not sure who is having the best time me or my 6 year old. Wohoo.

There is NOTHING better for me then watching someone (mostly my kids though) experiencing something for the first time at the parks. If I have some guests coming in, I let them ride rides while I wait at the best spot to be in for a parade, Fantasmic, etc. Just so I can see their faces light up when they watch something. - ZombieJerky

However, sometimes I get stressed that they might not experience everything OR that they might have a bad first experience due to external factors (for ex: I will save a spot for them for fantasmic but a group of very tall people wedge their way to the front at the last minute, blocking the view.) - Love

On my way to DL with my family. Driving down today from SF and then hitting Disney Monday - Wednesday. I was thinking about trying to hit downtown Disney tonight after we have checked in to the hotel. I was thinking we could grab dessert and get the kids excited for the next day. I heard parking is free for three hours. Is this a good idea and where could I take them for a treat? Is it worth it?

So I will be at DL 1 week from today. I am feeling overwhelmed. Where do I start for planning. I have a 5 almost 6year old and a 1 year old. We are really going in honor of my oldest as she turns 6 on April 14th. We have three day park hopper tickets and will be at the park Monday April 5-8th. I have so many questions. Should we bring the stroller. What rides should we plan on? What shows should More...
Strollers are good for little'uns. Naps are a great idea also. Try to section the park down...say, 1/2 of Disneyland one day, the rest another and DCA another day. Snacks and water bottles/juice boxes are great to bring with you. But naps, that would be key to pacing the little'uns and keeping them from getting super-cranky. - OffwhiteKnight

I vote "yes" on the stroller because your arms are going to get tired holding the 1-year-old. Definitely check out Turtle Talk with Crush at DCA; at her age, the birthday girl will probably love it! I think going early and then napping mid-day sounds like a good idea...that would be my ideal trip! - Gruyère

Renting strollers is always an option.. Youd have to carry your kids and bags outside of the parks which is a lot of work especially late at night. Naps in the afternoon are great! Thats when its hot and the park seems so crowded! Also a good time to use the hotel pool! - Calypso

When I opened mous wait today I noticed my mouserank is back to .1 even though my signature shows 1.2. Anyone else have this issue.
