There are no kids prices, it's straight across the board. Sunday was chosen because a lot of people would like to hit the park before or after and most APs are unblocked on Sunday. There's an update to the update.. DisneylandLive is reporting that originally this event was a random lottery (like the Star Tours preview), but it got out of hand. They opened it up to ALL APs thanks to all the calls about not receiving emails. Not too long ago they have stopped taking reservations over the phone for out of town'ers.
