Funny story I wanted to share! It was 12:45pm and we were debating on going on California Screaming. Well we had tickets for lunch at Ariel's Grotto for 13:10pm. My husband kept telling me that we wouldn't make our reservations on time with the 20minute wait. I asked a cast member how long the ride was and was convinced we'd make it. To help us out the awesome cast member gave us a red card fast p  More...

Well...At least it didn't deter him from riding again. If I was sketchy and that happened, I would of never rode another roller coaster...EVER - SpiritOfAdventure  1085.5 #213 11:02PM
SOA is right! You are Lucky, I can't get my husband on Scream, but if I did and that happened, I would never get him on it again!!! LOL - Boundin  944.4 #243 11:55PM
Very cool. I love walkoffs like that. Neat picture and glad you made it to Ariel's Grotto for your reservations. - DLKenCA  3769.6 #50 11:38PM

My family is presently stuck on California Screaming! Hope we don't miss our reservation at Ariel's Grotto!

Take some pics!!  That's awesome - Linzee  2148.4 #92 1:11PM
They'll allow exceptions if you inform someone about reservations. They are pretty good like that. Yay for walk offs - missmimi90  2086.9 #96 1:15PM
That is the ONE ride I would not want that to happen on!! - utahdisneygal  82.1 #4170 2:30PM

Can someone tell me how to understand the crowd index? I'm at the park right now and not sure what the # 51 really means.

It's not real time. It's based on admins algorithm of previous years attendances and wait times input by us users. - sawman911  5237.7 #31 4:54PM

Hello! I leave my home on Wednesday for California for the first time ever and have a question about weather. So I'm coming from the arctic where I can handle -30c or lower but I saw that hats, mittens and scarves are on sale for the skating. Just how cold does +20c feel? I can't imagine wearing anything but shorts with that temp!

It's SoCal Babe!  From where you're coming - this will be tropical!  Sweatshirt & jeans!!! - Sfarrell  114.4 #3550 7:27AM
Tropical for sure! I'm coming from Yellowknife, NWT Canada. I can't wait! We are visiting San Diego zoo first this Wednesday and I was a little disappointed they are making 6500sq ft of snow to slide on. My husband positively told me "well at at least you can slide in your t-shirt. Lol... Then I saw people wearing hats to stay warm! - SallyC  9.8 #12658 7:34AM
SallyC, being originally from Vancouver Island, (obviously nowhere near as cold as the NWT) it's gonna feel pretty darn balmy.  Maybe bring along a pair of gloves just in case you fall on the ice.  Otherwise, I think jeans and sweatshirt will do the trick. - TiggersAndTinks  208.7 #2052 7:45AM
Lol, when I was a kid, we visited relatives in Montana during the spring--my mom was bundling my sister and I up, and our relatives were breaking out the shorts and flip flops and planning on going to the lake for the "heat wave."  Haha!  It could rain, so you'll definitely want to bring jackets and boots, but you will probably be very comfortable in jeans and tshirts with sweaters/sweatshirts in the evening.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  720.2 #334 9:25AM
Thank you so much for the info!  - SallyC  9.8 #12658 9:35AM
It's not that cold here to me, but everyone is different! - sawman911  5237.7 #31 9:54AM
