We got off in time for Ariel's amazing lunch! I'll post pics tomorrow. There's a funny story to go with our little adventure!
Take some pics!!  That's awesome - Linzee  784.7 #184 1:11PM
They'll allow exceptions if you inform someone about reservations. They are pretty good like that. Yay for walk offs - missmimi90  1365.4 #89 1:15PM
That is the ONE ride I would not want that to happen on!! - utahdisneygal  37.7 #4728 2:30PM

How does one get an 'extra' magic hour pass?
It broke down 5 times yesterday from what they told me. We got stuck twice in that line. - DLKenCA  1399.5 #87 8:02AM
It moved quite a bit with all the people leaving. RSR is currently back up. I'm glad we stayed in line - duckymomo  35.1 #4862 8:06AM

By staying in one of the hotels on property.  - Atora  1905.7 #63 8:18AM
Some parkhopper tickets include one early entry, too.  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  509.4 #344 8:43AM
Totally forgot about that! I think it's the 3 day park hopper, right? - Atora  1905.7 #63 8:46AM
Yeah, I think so?  When we have passes and they expire, we dont renew until our next trip (silly to pay for a few months that we won't use), so in the past, when we were ready to buy passes again, we have purchased 3 day park hoppers, then upgraded to our APs at the end of the trip so that we could have an early entry.  :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar  509.4 #344 9:14AM
We are staying at one of the Disney hotels, and they offer the extra magic hour for hotel guests to enter DCA or Disneyland one hour early. They provide a calendar at check-in so you know which park has the extra magic hour because they do rotate - duckymomo  35.1 #4862 10:31AM
have fun! - Hendizl  2405.8 #43 8:16AM
When does that ride NOT break down?! We wasted an entire Extra Magic Hour waiting in line, only for them to announce it was "indefinitely in repair". BOO! - Diz_Mel  77.0 #3676 8:22AM
That's why you should have been doing laps on Toy Story or riding every other ride in the park at least once while magic morning is goin on...........when the park "opens" just ride single rider five times with no wait. - georgieporgie  180.2 #2093 9:19AM

Okay, so I'll put away my bikini (sigh) and am looking forward to the autumn-ish feeling weather! I'm doing my excited dance right now!
It's SoCal Babe!  From where you're coming - this will be tropical!  Sweatshirt & jeans!!! - Sfarrell  66.7 #3865 7:27AM
Tropical for sure! I'm coming from Yellowknife, NWT Canada. I can't wait! We are visiting San Diego zoo first this Wednesday and I was a little disappointed they are making 6500sq ft of snow to slide on. My husband positively told me "well at at least you can slide in your t-shirt. Lol... Then I saw people wearing hats to stay warm! - SallyC  9.8 #9067 7:34AM
SallyC, being originally from Vancouver Island, (obviously nowhere near as cold as the NWT) it's gonna feel pretty darn balmy.  Maybe bring along a pair of gloves just in case you fall on the ice.  Otherwise, I think jeans and sweatshirt will do the trick. - TiggersAndTinks  64.0 #3913 7:45AM
Lol, when I was a kid, we visited relatives in Montana during the spring--my mom was bundling my sister and I up, and our relatives were breaking out the shorts and flip flops and planning on going to the lake for the "heat wave."  Haha!  It could rain, so you'll definitely want to bring jackets and boots, but you will probably be very comfortable in jeans and tshirts with sweaters/sweatshirts in the evening.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  509.4 #344 9:25AM
Thank you so much for the info!  - SallyC  9.8 #9067 9:35AM
It's not that cold here to me, but everyone is different! - sawman911  657.3 #240 9:54AM
