Just like Shameeks, these r my 80's pins that I found! I totally forgot that I had them. The EO one says Disneyland on the bottom and dates 1986 on the back. Roger Rabbit dates 1987. None of the others have exact dates on them. They now have a special place on my pin board!
I have a question 4 all of the pin traders out there...I found some Disneyland pins from the 80's. The problem is that the metal has tarnished 2 a goldish color. Does anyone know of a SAFE way 2 clean them without causing any damage? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Now that Jack has vacated the Mansion, I would like 2 post a question. What is everyone's opinion on the lack of "Fastpass" 4 this year's Haunted Mansion Holiday? I honestly prefered it without the Fastpass. Things seemed 2 move a lot better...
Who here would love 2 take a trip on the Haunted Mansion alone or only with ur party? it kinda bothers me that ppl r always chatting or repeating the lines while in the Foyer and/or the Stretching Room. I would love 2 hear others opinion on this...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
