Man I can't believe it has been 13 years since California adventure has been open. I have made so many memories there and it has grown so much since the opening. I hope more is to come from disney into this park. Happy Birthday California Adventure!
There is two stations. First one is in Downtown Disney and the second is in TomorowLand. Te monorail it a futuristic transport system that has been with Disney, since around 1959-1961. Guest can use it to get in and out of the parks without having to return to the station they originally boarded. It's a cool thing and has been around for a long time. Omg! I think I met your son while waiting in line for the handicap bus at midnight after the park closed. I noticed that he was wearing a Jack shirt with a black kitty shirt underneath it. So cool. Tell him that I was the girl who said nice shirt, and may I say cool buzz jacket!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
