I was wondering if the Disneyland mail their pre packaged chocolates or pre packaged snacks.

They don't ship food. When I was there buying some candy, I was talking to a CM about this very thing. - Lelundrial  818.1 #249 11:18AM

I just wanted to come on here to thank everyone for all the advice and help they had given us for this wonderful trip. We are leaving today, sadly to say and won't be coming back for a while. We had stuff planned, but with a 3 yr old and an 18 month we just kind of let them run the show. So it was a lot of Astro Blaster. Also my 18 month loves the tiki room, so if you have a lil one don't hesitate  More...

I'm glad you had a good time and hopefully can get back soon! - ShariRenee  12069.2 #8 9:23AM
Sounds like you had the right attitude traveling with young kids. Be safe going home  - eviljules  1506.8 #125 11:22AM

We are doing MHP tonight. We all brought costume to the hotel, planning on dressing up, but it's a lil hot. They are all long sleeve and te infant one is like a onsie with feet and everything. What do other ppl do? Thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated.

We are going Wednesday. If it's as hot as today, which it probably will be. My son will not be wearing his Darth Vader costume. He'll wear a Halloween t-shirt instead. Otherwise, he'd be miserable and not enjoy the party. - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  114.1 #3459 4:03PM
Exactly  - misschurro  7858.2 #14 4:07PM
Hi there- number one... You want to be comfortable and not overheat. You may skip the costumes if it's really hot. We went on Friday night and short sleeves were perfect til past midnight. Not everyone dresses up, and under the circumstances it's perfectly acceptable. You will have fun no matter what. Have a great timeπŸ‘» - misschurro  7858.2 #14 4:06PM
Some fella fainted on Friday. So I would improvise and wear something cooler. Maybe do that bounding stuff that's all the rage right now - phillip...  1392.5 #140 3:01PM
When we were there Friday, it was 105 for the high that day. 😩 We saw a lot of people wearing street clothes to the party. You definitely want your baby and little ones not overheating. Same for yourself. So if you need to ditch the costumes, then just do it. Comfort and safety comes first. You will still have a fun time. Sorry it's still hot! - MeridaFan  4244.2 #39 3:06PM

I'm not sure if I'm suppose to be posting this here or at all, but I saw some people saying that they will be going to San Diego after the MW birthday party. I don't know what their plans are, but I wanted to let them know that October is kids free in San Diego. So if you have kids and you will be in San Diego you might want to look that up.

Kids free for what? You get free kids or????πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - secretagentangel  8510.3 #11 7:13PM
They're giving away kids - UTDISNEYFAMILY  2054.6 #87 7:35PM
Lol. Yes kids free. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I think that's what they call it. Kids get free admission and food and goodies, just depend on where you go. - sultan  45.4 #5198 12:21AM

Hi everyone!! I am planning to go to MHP in 1.5 week, so excited. I wanted to dress up and as of now I just have a red cape and going as little red riding hooding. I was wondering if you great MWers have seen a good costume for a 6 months pregnant person. I would have to be able to pick up handle 2 little one under 4. Thanks for any help.

A cape may not be enough. You may possibly want to add pants to your costume. - phillip...  1392.5 #140 9:24AM
A week and a half? Are you going the 9th? - phillip...  1392.5 #140 9:26AM
Lol!! I'm going on the 12. So I guess two weeks. Sorry πŸ˜† - sultan  45.4 #5198 9:30AM
I just did a Google image search for *dyi pregnant halloween costumes* and saw some great ideas. There's a lady in a red riding hood costume. I'm thinking a comfy black maxi dress and your cape should do the trick. If you want to use a basket that can also be your treat bag.  - MARVELus  740.4 #291 10:27AM
Thanks I think that was the same pic I was looking at. - sultan  45.4 #5198 11:04AM
I have seen costumes for preggy ladies as Smee! But I think the cape is a bit more fashionable & feminine. Congrats on ur new addition !  - therealJackandSally  333.7 #0 11:52AM
Thanks.  - sultan  45.4 #5198 12:04PM
Fairy Godmother could work.  Or you could buy a Mike Wozowski t-shirt and wear it with leggings.  Hmmm, isn't there a version of Belle with a red cape?  That could be fun!   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  658.8 #335 12:17PM
And congrats!  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  658.8 #335 12:27PM
Thanks. I would love to go dress as belle, favorite of mine, but I thought It would be weird to see a prego princess.  - sultan  45.4 #5198 3:48PM

Just found out that CHOC walk is on the 11th of October. Is it usually very crowded at the parks, on this day? This is the day we are planning to start our stay.

Choc walk weekend, holiday weekend for some and of course the MW birthday bash. So yes, very likely busy but a fun weekend. Will you be joining us at the MW birthday reunion that same day? - phillip...  1392.5 #140 12:35PM
I AM going to try to attend MW bday. I didn't even know about it til just a couple of days agoπŸ˜†. Thanks for responding!!! - sultan  45.4 #5198 12:47PM
What's CHOC walk? Is it just on the 11th? We will be there on the 10th. - trulyjo  1.2 #66999 5:41PM
It's a charity walk for the Children's Hospital of Orange County. I think it's just that one day, before the parks open.  - sultan  45.4 #5198 5:43PM
Yes it's a charity 5K to raise funds for pediatric cancer research and Children's Hospital of Orange County. The walk is only one day.  - LuvsDisney4ever  239.8 #1558 6:52PM
CHOC is super cool bc you walk through DL and behind the scenes! I like that partπŸ˜‰ and MWers from all over the states come and participate  - misschurro  7858.2 #14 6:58PM

Good Morning Mousewait!! I heading to DLR next month and was just wondering what is everyone's must have eats/treats, either for the 60th or Halloween. I want to make a list so I don't miss out on any of the yummys. Thanks ahead of time!!

The Pumpkin Beignets are great! - luvthemouse  280.6 #1136 8:59AM
Yes definitely the pumpkin beignets like @luvthemouse Said. The pumpkin muffins and pumpkin latte are amazing as well. If you want a non pumpkin treat the chocolate parfait at Tomorrowland terrace is super good! If you're going want a cold treat go with a dole whip!  - LindseyanaJones  266.8 #1271 9:21AM
Oh, that chocolate parfait is crazy good!!!  Have only had it once. But will never forget how good it was!  **makes note to get this again on next visit!   - MeridaFan  4244.2 #39 1:00PM
My list is getting longer and longer. πŸ˜€. Thanks!! - sultan  45.4 #5198 1:08PM
I think we should do a top food list by mousewait! That way we can go down the list and try everything a review it. ... aside from my kiddos happiness we go for the food... oh and drinks on the other side lol - formadi  63.1 #4523 1:52PM

My mini is 15 months and we will be at DLR this week. I'm a little nervous on how he will react on the rides I don't want to ruin anyone else's time. I'm taking him on dumbo and peter pans but my husband wants to also do PoTC an Haunted Mansion. Has anyone ever taken such a young one on these rides? These rides are kind of long too. How did they react?

My oldest loved POTC when she was that age (and still does), however, she has never been on HM when it's not housing Jack Skellington. I don't know how she would react to normal HM. You know your child best: if you think your mini can handle it, I say go for it. If not, try again another time. 😊 - preggoprincess  238.3 #1573 3:28PM
Thank you for your response. I will do the same so hubby doesn't think he can't make any decisions. PoTC but no Haunted Mansion. I think if it was the Halloween I would take him. - sultan  45.4 #5198 3:31PM
Oh, LilPrincess ❀❀❀it when it's Nightmare Before Christmased out, but I'm pretty sure regular HM would scare the bejesus out of her!πŸ™€ - preggoprincess  238.3 #1573 3:35PM
Play it by ear, plenty to do with 15 month baby. Alice, Pinocchio, buzz, small world are good as well. Oh and pooh. - dizneedude  1826.2 #101 3:29PM
Thanks! - sultan  45.4 #5198 3:37PM
I took my then three month old on POtC, Mansion, and Jungle and she loved them! Baby care center on Main Street and next to Ghirardellis are helpful. Make sure to find some quiet places for them to unwind and get away from the stimulation of noises and crowds! - IDVandalSkipperCM  2638.6 #58 1:41AM
I took my twinsies on both POTC and HM from the time they were 10 months old. Your 15 month old should do just fine! - NellTinkerBell  322.8 #851 1:43AM

Hi I have had this app for about a month and love it. It makes me feel so close to DLR with all the wonderful posts. I use to live 20 min away from Disneyland but had to move since we got stationed somewhere else :(. We are heading to Disneyland in 2 weeks. We will be staying at the Disneyland hotel. Does anybody have any idea to make a fun pregnancy announcement, for my hubby, that includes Disn  More...

Welcome & Congrats on your bundle of joy! Some have bought Mickey ears and had "Its a... boy/girl" stitched on it. Whatever you come up with, I'm sure will be adorable! Have a great time! - Armenda  1181.5 #164 1:28PM
Welcome...Congrats on the new mini...and here's my idea: I would definitely try to arrange something with the hotel you're staying at, if you want your hubby to know ASAP. They can have the surprise (baby basket with goodies) waiting for you before you enter your room. If you'd rather want to wait for later, then I'd buy a "My 1st time" onesie and a Mickey dressed like a baby (both found in Emporium on Mainstreet). After your purchase, I'd take him to the kiddie rides (which ever you consider taking your 1yr old) and then give the bag to your hubby and tell him you got him something to commemorate your vacation. This is something I'd do, but I'm sure you'll come up with a great idea, too... - LaBelleParis  1403.4 #138 3:43PM
Welcome and congrats! I would have the hotel have blue and pink balloons in your hotel room prior to your arrival!!!! - HiddenMickeyFanatic  1348.5 #143 4:50PM
