Good evening MWer! I'm up for a late night tonight. How was your Mother's day?? Even though I'm not technically a mother, I still got a "mothers" day present from my niece for taking care of her! So sweet! :D
It's my first RAK!!!!! Up for grabs is a Minnie Mouse tutu for a little girl aged 12-18 months! Or, of course, younger! I will pick a winner using random.org on Tue, March 15! Good luck and thanks!! :)
Opinions needed! I got a nannying job for this summer (YAYYY!!!) so I'm starting to seriously think about my DL trip. I'm planning on Sept (NOT labour day weekend). Would you rather go on a Sub, Mon, and Tue? Or on a Wed, Thu, and Fri?
I don't know. Can you tell what this kid's fav character is? Buzz shirt and pants, buzz push-bike, and yells "BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!!!!!! To infinity, and BEYOND!!!!" when watching TS 1, 2, or 3. He's a buzz-fanatic!
So, remember when I posted on Monday that I was unable to donate blood? Wellllll.....guess what I did today!!! Donated blood! It was quite the process with both arms being poked, but I did it! And, my town is on a roll. Crazy guy running around last night, and bank robber tonight. Hehehe! How has everyone's day been?? :D
So tonight, I decided to Pay It Forward with one of the RAKs I received. About a week ago, I received a RAK from SupremeLeader, a 3 pack of heart candies. Well, one of my friends was having a really hard, tough day. So tonight, I opened the package and wrote her name on one, but didnt write my name. I put it on her car for after church. Later, she texted me and told me she LOVED it!!! It completel More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
