Do they still have a show at the Golden Horseshoe, or is it the stage door cafe? Looking for a place to sit down for a break, have a snack, and have some entertainment! Thank you!

Yes, they still have The Gold Horseshoe for food a seat and entertainment. Yes, they still have Stage Door for a snack. - ShariRenee  6203.7 #14 7:24PM

I have a 7 year old daughter and she wants to meet all the princesses. Are they all at the Fantasy Fair, or are there other places to meet them. Ariel's grotto will be closed when we are there, so that option is out. I appreciate any tips you might have! Thank you so much!

hello! You should be able to find Belle, Snow White, Cinderella, sometimes Ariel inside the Fantasy Faire building. Aurora used to be in there but was relocated over to the wishing well (which is now closed so she's either out front or in Fantasyland). Ariel is normally found out front as well. Tiana you will most often find in New Orleans Square area. Rapunzel and Merida do meet and greets in the fantasy Faire area across from the theatre. Anna and Elsa as in DCA. They are FP meet and greet only so you will need a FP to meet them. - missmimi90  2001.2 #69 6:57PM
If you get there in the morning there are usually princesses inside the front gate with a short wait. Princess Fantasy Faire switches them out through the day and lately the line has not been over 30 minutes. Merida has a spot by herself outside of Fantasy Faire but still in the circle, she takes a lot of breaks but the line is never too long. Jasmine can be found in the Aladdin area between Indy and Jungle Cruise. Tiana can be found in New Orleans Square, sometimes on the Mark Twain and sometimes on the platform in front of Cafe Orleans. Cinderella kinda roams around the castle area. Hmmm, help guys who am I forgetting? Hope this helps! - ShariRenee  6203.7 #14 7:00PM

Is there a place on the app that shows the refurb schedule for California Adventure? I see it for Disneyland, but not CA! We are planning a trip for February, but there seems to be a lot of things closed! Thanks for the help!

You can do a search for the refurbs currently going on on this app or visit Disneyland's official web site. If it helps the only thing down for referb in DCA right now is Soarin' and that Themed area. - Donaldfan_532  239.1 #1415 6:49AM

Thank you for the great info! Is it normal for there to be so many things being refurbished at one time? I guess it is just the time of year maybe. We are going to be there presidents week, but it is the only time we can all get the time off. I hope that the railroad will be back up by then, my husband likes to take that everywhere! - charlottebug07  5.2 #16950 10:10PM

I was wondering if the Elsa and Anna Boutique in DTD is like the Bippity Boppity Boutique with makeovers? Or is it just a retail store that sells Frozen merchandise? Thank you for any info!

Yes they do make overs! My girls got the Elsa makeover over a few weeks ago and it was ADORABLE!! - RCmom  5229.2 #18 8:30AM

I was wondering when is the best time to go to the bippity boppity boutique? I was thinking maybe first thing in the morning they would have the best selection of dresses, or do they restock throughout the day? I know I need a reservation, and I just want to reserve for the best time. Thanks for any info about this! My 7 year old is so exited, I just want it to be perfect for her.

I always try and get one of the first makeover appts of the day. I figure if I'm going to spend all the money getting my girls all cuted up, I want to get my money's worth! I want a FULL day for them to enjoy it and feel like princesses!!πŸ˜‚ - RCmom  5229.2 #18 4:44PM
I booked my appt for 15 mins after the park opens. It's gives us time to walk in and look around in BBB first and then it's done for the day..... No worrying about getting to the appt on time or not going on a ride because we could be late.  - Deanne  0.5 #78066 4:26PM
We did early in the morning one day because it lasted the whole day then (heck her hairdo actually stayed in most of the trip). πŸ˜„ - warchanted  166.6 #2387 12:48AM
I was wondering if the hairdo would last! I didn't want it to get messed up five minutes later after going on rides! Although she doesn't go on anything fast! Thank you for the info! - charlottebug07  5.2 #16950 7:09AM
My daughter's hair lasted for 2 days and they only reason it came out was because her hair needed to be washed. She was only 4 at the time.....I was impressed.  - Deanne  0.5 #78066 11:53PM

I am confused about Mickey's Halloween Party. I have never been to the parks in October! Is this for kids, or grownups? You have to have a different ticket, can you still be at the park all day? Any info would be so helpful! I am so bored with the same old door to door trick or treat we do every year! Thank you!

Omg itsSOoooooo fun! Honestly it's a kid friendly but SO fun for adults. There's tons of treats, dance parties with characters, characters dressed up and some you rarely see, and the park is perfectly spooky with a dash of fun. Do it do it do it! Plus the fireworks are my favorite the park has all year.  - MarshaMouse  4432.3 #23 8:51PM
The wristbands you get are pretty awesome too. They're shiny and very durable. Not your typical paper wristbands. you'll never want to take it off - philliprocks  1153.1 #142 9:17PM

I was wondering if Disney Dollars are accepted everywhere in the parks, including the food stands? How about downtown Disney? Probably not accepted at most places there! Do they still sell them at the Disney store? I wanted to start buying them whenever I have some extra cash as a way of saving for our trip in February. I appreciate the info! Thank you!

I buy them for the kids and never use them. Inflation deflates their value. But maybe they will make something for display someday  - E-Ticket  1377.4 #111 7:46AM
I'm not sure about where all they are accepted but as a tip I do the same thing except with a Disney gift card. Whenever it's time to put more money on it I go to my Disney Store and reload. I think it's easier to manage and you're a little more protected if anything happens. Hopefully someone will have more Disney Dollar info for you.  - TheDroidYouAreLookingFor  438.6 #461 6:46AM
And if you buy them at target with a target card, you get 5% off! Every little but helps.  - BibbidiBobbidiMe  178.6 #2192 7:44AM
If I buy my kids the gift cards, can they use those to buy the disney dollars at the park? They like the dollars, it is kinda like having play money that you can really spend!  - charlottebug07  5.2 #16950 7:06AM
I checked disneygiftcard.com an unfortunately it stated that Disney Dollars cannot be purchased with the gift card.  - TheDroidYouAreLookingFor  438.6 #461 9:15AM
Thank you so much for checking that for me, I would have been disappointed to show up at the park expecting to by disney dollars with my gift card! The kids have been doing extra things to earn them. I was going to give them their own dollars, but I guess I can just give them their own gift cards in the amount they earn, so they can have their own spending money. Do you know if the cards come in different designs, do they can tell them apart! - charlottebug07  5.2 #16950 3:34PM
There's tons of designs! They have some diff ones at the parks and stores but there's more online and it's free shipping. - TheDroidYouAreLookingFor  438.6 #461 3:49PM

I have a question about the annual passes. Do you have to live in Southern California to qualify? I live in Northern California, but thought it might still be worth it with a couple of trips a year, plus discounts! Thank you for any helpful info!

I live in Northern Cal & we have had deluxe, premium, and premier passes. I think there is a pass for SoCal residents. I believe you have to show proof of residency for it. - RhondaR  223.3 #1617 9:20AM
We live in NorCal and have the deluxe annual passes. The ones that specifically say Southern California on the pass description are reserved for those with a peticular zip code. I believe you are able to get the deluxe and premier pass, I think those are the only two available for all? Anyways if you go more than like twice a year, it's so worth it. Hope that helps!! - BrerPam  288.6 #924 9:21AM
NorCal here too, 4 APs including one for a 4 year old.  So worth it if you take two 3 day trips.  Plus you get the AP DISCOUNTS, those add up.   - MermaidHunter  121.2 #3100 3:38PM

I have one of these cards, they say you get 10% discount at select dining and shopping locations at the park. I have not been able to find out which locations honor this discount. Does anyone else have one of these? I am planning a trip to Disneyland and would like to know where to get the discounts. Every little bit helps! I am grateful for any information. Thank you!

All stores honor it but purchase has to be over $50. Ask/remind the CM at the register because after a while, all of the credit cards look the same.  - BaseballMickey_CM  7054.9 #9 4:30PM

I just love the precious moments Disney dolls. Do they sell them in the parks all the time? Or do they only have them when the artist is there signing? I haven't been to disneyland in almost six years, and I'm finally going in February! I can't wait! I am hoping to start my precious moment doll collection then. I don't want to let another six years go by without being at disneyland! It really is t  More...

I believe there are limited dolls on sale all the time. But when the designer is there to autograph dolls, they bring out a huge variety. Don't quote me on that, but that has been what I have noticed. I bought Peter Pan and Wendy on a visit a year and a half ago. I love them!  It would not be difficult to fill up a house with these!  πŸ˜ - MeridaFan  3551.4 #36 9:28PM

My Family and I are planning a trip to Disneyland in February. The only time my Husband and I can both get the time off is during President's week. I've read that February is slow with the exception of that week, but is that week super crowded? All of the Holiday stuff is over then isn't it? I haven't been in five years, and I am so excited, I just hope it isn't too crowded.

A list of pros and cons can be made about any particular time to visit the park!  The parks are busy - because they are wonderful and loved by many!  One of my most delightful trips was during this same week, a few years ago.  Any crowdedness issues can be overcome with some planning for the busiest parts of the day and a positive attitude!  Start making your plans for those times: eat a sit down meal, watch a show, take the circle tour on the train, catch a nap or a swim...  Once you are in the park you will be swept up in the moment, and the joy of being there will make the crowds seem totally manageable!   - DreadPiratesRogers  846.0 #200 9:17AM
Thank you so much for the tips! We will just be sure to get there first thing in the morning, I'm sure it's less crowded then! - charlottebug07  5.2 #16950 9:25AM
My same tip for everybody: Go early, get FP's and then ride rides. You can do more in the first 2 hours than you can all day while people are shopping and eating.  - ShariRenee  6203.7 #14 9:30AM
Yes the holiday stuff is over by then. I've heard it is really crowded since the school by me have the week off and I believe Utah has it off for 'ski week' or something like that. But if it's the only time you can go, then go and have fun! - brodysmommy  406.3 #511 6:52AM
Somehow I've missed Ski week for 16 years.  Feeling kind of gypped!  That's some prime Disney vacation time there.  πŸ˜‰ - TiggersAndTinks  130.6 #2943 9:19PM
Yeah, no such thing as ski week. Idaho gets out for Spud Harvest, but that's in October. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  672.4 #272 9:21PM
Wow!!  Must be so exciting after 5 years!! Fast Pass, Single Rider and the fact DCA can now ease some DP crowds, will all help to still make it a fabulous trip!!  πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ‘ - RapunzelledColey  125.6 #3011 1:52AM
We went that weekend last year and it was pretty crazy especially on Valentines day, which will be falling on a Saturday next year that same weekend. We waited over 2 hours to have dinner and most places were booked up for the night. So my advise would be to make dinner reservations ASAP. Even the line to get fried chicken on main at was bananas 😫  - MrsMinnie  60.8 #4221 11:30PM

What is the Frozen royal reception? I see long wait times for this, but I'm not sure if it is a show a character greet, or a ride? My Daughter has "Frozen Fever"lol, so naturally I want to find out what Disneyland has, since the last time I was there "Frozen" didn't exist! Hard to imagine! Thanks for any info!

If your looking for what DL has to represent Frozen in general, There is a pre-parade float dedicated to Frozen with Ana and Elsa. The Frozen Royal Reception is in Fantasyland near the Village Haus and you just might find a friend there that likes warm hugs.  - Donaldfan_532  239.1 #1415 8:29AM
It is a meet and greet. Wait times are very long as it is very popular and up to 170 minutes. If you go early/first wait times are not much and they do spend a lot of times with the kids. - ShariRenee  6203.7 #14 8:51PM
