Love all things Disney! I don't even mind the lines, it allows for conversation. Daughter loves it as much as I do, wifey is close but calls it after 8-10 hours :)! "Be kind b/c everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle". Plato

This is the Stormtrooper drink holder, which oddly costs more than the Vader popcorn bucket ($13.50 vs. $12.50). Glasses not included.
@DisneyPiratePrincess  Did you see this? - minniemonika  54.8 #0 5:48PM
They should include the glasses! I like that look :) - zbgirl00  45.8 #4390 8:27AM
Where did you get that? Awesome! - luxkitty  1154.1 #110 4:54PM
Drink stand in front of Innovation. You can also get it with a light up Death Star $17.50 (it's like those glow cubes). - dizneedude  629.6 #252 7:06PM
Thank you! - luxkitty  1154.1 #110 7:21PM
Yes @minniemon! We are going to need that to go with the Darth popcorn bucket.  - DisneyPiratePrincess  32.1 #5009 6:04PM

Wow, Disney AP now subject to availability and up to date payment. APs are now like Club 33 lite.
I read that article.  No mention of exclusivity or Club 33.  They mentioned maybe doing the same suspension to Premiums and Deluxe if they find the need. So my understanding is with the Southern Pass only, they are not selling new passes, only renewing current holders of that pass.  And anyone whose Southern pass expired in the last three months can still renew.  - nittywitty  195.4 #1906 10:44AM
That's how I interpret it too. If you have let's say a Premium and they suspend new sales, you're fine and can keep renewing to your hearts content. They just froze new sales of it to new buyers so they will have to opt for another kind of AP that is available for purchase. - HARR_E  947.3 #146 11:27AM
Did you read the Yahoo article this morning? I actually shouldn't even call it an article, it was only 3 paragraphs long. The way that writer stated it, that there was no longer an AP just for southern California residents. Then there was another article that gave me a headache from the lack of grammar, saying that Disney suspended AP sales. Three articles and the writing is all over the place in regards to the APs. - Lelundrial  439.3 #417 12:13PM
I see how it can read that way, that's why I went straight to the source, Disnelyland.com.  All passes EXCEPT for the Southern California pass were available for new purchase.  - nittywitty  195.4 #1906 12:21PM
Well, an AP is a luxury, not a right. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  505.1 #345 11:06AM
Nobody said it was a right. - Lelundrial  439.3 #417 12:13PM
Complaining that an AP is becoming "too exclusive" by sarcastically comparing limiting AP sales to Club 33 memberships makes it seem as though one sees the AP as a right, rather than as the luxury that it is. It's definitely implied: few people would be silly enough to actually say flat out they think an AP is a basic right of SoCal living. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  505.1 #345 12:29PM
Huh?? Can you explain further? - 1Princess3Princes  339.3 #602 10:28AM
In the OC Register article it was mentioned that in the future they may make changes to Premium and Deluxe. The way it was written made it sound like there would only be a certain amount that can be bought, and it would start being exclusive like Club 33. - Lelundrial  439.3 #417 10:31AM
Buy your Premium pass now if you want one.  They could some day limit the sales on those as well.   Maybe, they are saying this to scaring us into purchasing the Premium?  I tell you the truth, if I knew for a fact they were about to do that, I'd be buying a premium pass for my under 3 granddaughter so I could rest assured she'd have a Premium when she was of age for passes.  - nittywitty  195.4 #1906 12:25PM
I am looking at the AP FB page now, and someone from the Disney FB page responded to someone's question with "and to preserve the Guest experience for Annual Passholders and all Guests -- future sales of all Annual Passes will be subject to availability." Our renewal paperwork should come sometime next month, and I am definitely renewing. We got our DL trips planned out for the rest of this year, and pretty much for all of next year. - Lelundrial  439.3 #417 1:15PM

Top kid's tenderloin at Carthay; bottom kid's tenderloin Napa. Meat and sauce are the same (approx 8 oz), sides are different. Same price ($14) but AP discount at Carthay.
This made me hungry but top looks better and cheaper. Can we order kids menu for us grown-ups there? Lol - iLOVELUCYnDISNEY  554.5 #298 11:59PM

Both are large portions (for a 6 yr old). However there is a notice that says "under the age of 12 please".  - dizneedude  629.6 #252 3:07PM

Spring veggie risotto with pea coulis, mushrooms, cilantro, and a citrus zest. Light, filling and refreshing...at Carthay.
Yummy. Is this an appetizer? @missariel33 would like this.  - iLOVELUCYnDISNEY  554.5 #298 12:02AM
No... It was a main portion (very large). - dizneedude  629.6 #252 12:04AM
She hates mushrooms lol. I'd eat that minus cilantro. Cilantro is yuck - missmimi90  1363.6 #89 12:09AM
Minus mushroom for her minus cilandro for you and add it to me Lol. I love cilandro. Yummy. Looks small on pic but good to know its not.  - iLOVELUCYnDISNEY  554.5 #298 12:20AM
I love cilantro too, hate parsley. Not a big fan of peas but this looks delicious!!! 😋 - apesandmonkeys  6237.8 #8 12:43AM
iLOVELUCYnDISNEY it does look small but then again, my eyes are always bigger than my stomach and I like the visual of big portions 😂 - apesandmonkeys  6237.8 #8 12:44AM

This is the seasonal pizza at Napa: "Celebration of Color". Squash blossoms, peas coulis, onion, celery leaves and lamb. Very pretty, no AP discount $15.
almost got this the other day. how was it? ALSO FYI the seasonal pizzas change each week on Wed - Dave  10829.7 #2 10:50AM

From Napa: Lemon coconut lobster broth with soba noodles and shrimp, house pizza, truffle mac and cheese, lobster and spicy beef salad (especially good) plus 2 bootlegger IPAs, lemonades, kids tenderloin and creme brûlée. Total $105 ($130 with tip). Best part low crowd index 😊

We ate there twice this week.  Our best meals for sure.  Once in the main room for Claire's bday and once in the lounge.  Both .... Great food and great service.  We lucked out getting a seat Sat night in the lounge w no res.  Pork loin was awesome.  As was the tenderloin, kids tenderloin and pizetta. - ElsaSnowflake  41.6 #4538 10:46PM

The snack that turned into lunch: pomme frites $5.50, bowl of gumbo $8.99 beignets (5 of them) $7.99, pomegranate lemonade $3.50. About $28 with AP discount, tax and tip.
here is a cool little trick that adds some extra taste to the gumbo. Take the crumbles at the bottom of the basket of the Pome Frities and sprinkled them on top of the gumbo..Adds some nice garlic, cheese and herbs to it that makes it even that much better - Dave  10829.7 #2 4:44PM
I must try this. I had a cup of the gumbo at blue bayou and really did enjoy it (was best part of my meal) so any way to enhance it further is good in my book! - missmimi90  1363.6 #89 4:51PM
