Love all things Disney! I don't even mind the lines, it allows for conversation. Daughter loves it as much as I do, wifey is close but calls it after 8-10 hours :)! "Be kind b/c everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle". Plato

2 lows, 1 high: finished 3rd at a figure skating competition, lost our hockey game...but our daughter got her first penalty in today's game (it's sorta a hockey thing). Another game tomorrow and another competition on Thursday. Our first USFS one, gonna get killed 😳

Was having a pretty good day until I got home and saw that tower of terror is being taken down for a Guardians of the Galaxy ride. I love the movie but I love the ride wayyy more. We did ride the Joker .. Mulberry's in BH...hands down best pie on the west coast. Get the house special (just cheese) amazing.

Hi, good evening. I like pepperoni, Italian sausage, black olives, and onion. My favorite joint was Sorrento's in San Diego near SDSU. Now I just eat what is convenient. We got a pizza oven for Christmas and it does a great job on inexpensive frozen frisbees. πŸ•  - jacdanfan  12348.6 #6 9:36PM
Hi! Welcome to Up LateπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚i've seen those pizza ovens always wondered what they do. I try doing pizza from scratch on the barbecue and it tastes pretty good but it ends up for me more like pizza bread to dip in sauce - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 9:48PM
They are great heating up a pizza quickly. Saves money from heating the oven. Also can broil and do garlic toast, etc. We use is weekly. - jacdanfan  12348.6 #6 6:46AM
Yum PIZZA!!!!πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•Way back when.... My mom would make home made pizzas for my family of 8. even making the crust from scratch. She would put many leftover food on it. Broccoli, carrots chicken,....We had specialty pizzas before the restaurants did. πŸ˜‹ and they were so good!! I make my own now too but not too often. Even thought they're so yummy, I still gotta watch my girlish figure! πŸ˜† if I am makin one, it's gonna be veggie. Bell peppers, olives and mushrooms!  Dang...now I'm hungry again! πŸ˜„πŸ˜‹πŸ˜œ - encinitasrunner  73.0 #4209 9:53PM
My work here is done. This is just a master plan to make everybody hungry. You should try pizza crust,  mozzarella cheese, maybe  me a little cheddar,  but mostly white cheese and barbecue chicken , pineapple and barbecue sauce ! it's so tasty you could add other stuff to it but there's a pizza place  I think in Yorba Linda that makes it and I've been thinking about it a lot lately so  I'm going to find it and buy a big giant one  and regret it the next day and I don't care. Because at least chicken is healthy! So cool on your mom!  - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 10:23PM

They were beautiful but the neighbor built a rodeo ring with stadium seats in his back yard and thought they could have performances whenever he felt like it. The county ordered him to stop. He later had to sell most of the horses when the economy went bad. Two of them escaped one day and jumped on our front fence. Beautiful horses but terrible owner. I bet the new owners treat those horses well. I love the intricate braiding work. God will always listen to our prayers! 😘😘 - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 12:44AM

Oh my gosh... Today was busy. Fun stuff mostly. Dr appt (not fun).  Joined the gym this week, and signed up for personal trainer. I am sore, but in a good way. Tomorrow is water aerobics. Then our grandson 5th b-day. That was a swim party. Camping as well. All my pictures are my favorite. I put them on a digital frame, so I can see them all. πŸ˜‰ - Sugarbuzz  281.8 #1104 9:19PM
Oh, and contemplating my own business. Just got to figure out licensing, financing... And wrap my brain around it. Stepping out isn't easy for me. Not a risk taker.  - Sugarbuzz  281.8 #1104 9:23PM
I used to be a trainer so if they worked you out to where  you're a good sorr, then you're on your way to feeling better!! What category of business? You're a prayerer,  He'll guide you in the best for you! Nice on the digital photos!  - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 9:34PM
Both hubs and I gained so much with the accident. I finally feel like I have to do something, or curl up and die. I can't be a heart attack waiting to happen. The business is health related. It is something I would use, and I think most over weight people would use it. Not a gimmick, or sales like buying vitamins. Prayer is the only way I can make this decision, otherwise I'll be a basket case with worry.  - Sugarbuzz  281.8 #1104 9:55PM
I'll pray for you too and congrats on deciding to get yourself in shape. Then you can help all your friends who want to get in shape too. - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 10:04PM

My favorite would be a photo of my husband and youngest daughter during Believe in Holiday Magic when it was "snowing"  she was reaching up to it and it was so cute, not a technically great photo, but definitely one that gives me the feels. Basically any photo of my family or friends at the park. :) - OhanaPhoto  6474.8 #21 3:35PM
Even if the photo wasn't technically perfect it's perfect when your family Is in it. That one sounds beautiful. - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 4:33PM
The candid shots are the very best ones, I think--they capture what's real.  My two fave wedding photos are 1) of my hubby hugging me during the reception: by conventional standards, I look horrible--my face is all squashed and my hair is messy, πŸ˜‚ but we're both so happy πŸ’– And 2) we had a set of Snow White/Dopey salt and pepper shakers on one of the tables, and the photographer thought they were adorable and took a pic--I loved that she noticed that little tiny detail and was so pleased to see it when I was going through all the photos afterward!   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  641.5 #335 4:49PM
Spoonful_O_Sugar I agree! My favorite wedding photo is at our reception, end of the night sweaty tired and gross, and we had beer and whipped cream smashed all over our faces and in our hair. That picture epitomizes that whole day. A sweet loving mess, a mess because a TON of stuff went wrong on our day. lol - OhanaPhoto  6474.8 #21 12:57PM
secretagentangel That is so true! No photo of "landmarks' can come close to your loved one's faces :) I learned that the hard way. We were always obsessed with shooting the pretty waterfall, or Lincoln memorial, or a Giant Redwood which are all great, but when we got home we had few to no photos of us there at those places. So basically we have postcards of our family vacations. :( Sorry for the rambling.:)  - OhanaPhoto  6474.8 #21 1:03PM

The worse ice cream flavor is still better than no ice cream...true story

I'm afraid my Up Lates will be few and far between... I was offered a job last Wed. that I thought was going to be a temp position, but instead they hired me for part time in order to train and then full time once I get the swing of things (in about a month or so.) Book keeping for a company, and they want me to ultimately take over AP & AR! Really challenging but I'm super excited for the opportunity! Oh, and my favorite ice cream combo is chocolate peanut butter cup and chocolate chip cookie dough; fudge sauce, peanuts, choc. chip cookie pieces & Reese's cups all over and mixed in! Yummy! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ - Catski23  30.3 #6215 10:28PM
Congrats on the new job! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ It sounds like a lot of new responsibilities, but how exciting for you! Based off your ice cream description, I've decided you must be an ice cream pro. There is no messing around when it comes to your favorite. Impressive! - DarthTinkerbell  935.5 #208 11:06PM
Thanks, DarthTinkerbell! I'm very excited about my new job. Not really and ice cream pro, I just choose my most favorite tastes and treats, because we don't do ice cream at our house very often, especially when it comes to making sundaes! Go big or go home, I always say... Except when we're already at home; in that case, it just gets a little weird! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‹πŸ˜¬πŸ˜» - Catski23  30.3 #6215 5:34PM

I love ice cream.  We really like Cold Stone Creamery when we are in the US.  There are also a few of them in Dubai, so we are all looking forward to visiting there this summer.  It takes us ages to decide on flavours.  I like chocolate with caramel sauce and white chocolate.  Also love Ben and Jerrys ice cream.  We visited their factory shop in Vermont a few years ago.  Loved it:-) - beentoall  1017.4 #0 10:06PM

I was a malted milk ball crazy person. I used to bring that gigantic milk carton size malted milk balls to the movies. Every time I would tilt it, it sounded like 2 bajillion marbles falling. So yah, that didn't go over well. haha - OhanaPhoto  6474.8 #21 12:44PM

Rose Bowl is like the biggest show on So Cal. We go in the hills and watch for free - Goofytom  2872.8 #52 9:57PM
The "big" fireworks are legal where we live, it is pretty awesome to go to the beach and just sit and watch all of them going off.  Our city doesn't have an organized fireworks show, but we don't need one because there will be 50, 000 people on the beach putting their own off. - dianeburns1998  107.3 #3559 9:14PM
Wow! We have that many show up for a fireworks for Christmas but that's amazing. I hope people act safe with them. I've seen what the stands sell in other states but they're not allowed here😭😭😭  how early to you have to get to the beach?  - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 9:29PM
And you're in Washington but at the new or old house right now?  - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 9:34PM
Old house still, haven't signed the papers for the new one yet, so it isn't actually ours yet:(  If you want a good spot and one that you can have a decent fire for roasting food, you usually have to stake it out in the afternoon.  Tomorrow we are just going later to watch the "show."  We will park back farther and walk a bit.  Unfortunately, people do not clean up after thrmselves.  Last year tons of trash was cleaned up, and it took over a week.  Gets me angry. The fire department even hands out huge garbage bags to everybody as the drive on the beach but only a few people use them. - dianeburns1998  107.3 #3559 10:05PM
Do you mean the fire department dries on the beach and hands out  garbage bags or people can drive on the beach? There's only one beach I know  in California , though I'm sure there's more, where you can drive on the beach and that was Pizmo beach. And we did it when I was a kid and I thought it was so cool. - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 10:44PM
@secretagentangel After growing up with California beaches, it was crazy when I moved to Corpus Christi where you drive on the beach, park your truck, and set up your spot for the day.  I had to have friends show me how because I was scared!   There is only one beach with a parking lot! - Thumper13  516.9 #433 11:32PM
I think that's cool Thumper13. Bad thing is our lifeguards ran someone over last year but I stay away from the part they drive on. Nice to have your things right there and not have to walk. And if a tsunami comes, just drive away!πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - secretagentangel  7412.1 #14 11:52PM
secretagentangel, our beach is a "highway" and has speed limit of 25 mph.  It is one of the few beaches along the coast that you can legally drive on.  Every year an RV drives too close to the tide line, during low tide, and they lose their vehicle.   We always have pics of vehicles stuck in the water in our local paper. - dianeburns1998  107.3 #3559 6:21AM
The only fireworks I'll see are if I watch them on the HoJo Webcam. Our area prohibits the use of fireworks and as the Trailhead Fire is still burning and at 4,000 acres already, I'm ok with that rule. What I love about our area are seeing all of the trees and watching the deer walk through our property frequently.  - DisneyMom13  331.1 #779 12:24AM
I've been in a the states several years for Independence Day and it was always a lot of fun. If I'm not, we always drive into the US to the closest town and watch their fireworks. Then we get them twice (Canada Day too).  - teaching76  12.7 #0 3:48AM

Different and unusual, no...but fun, yes. Went to the parks again today πŸ˜€ best thing in the fridge is probably beer, wine and vodka in the freezer. Everything else is rather pedestrian

Hope you had a great Sunday Funday!! The best thing in my fridge right now us fresh strawberries from a little strawberry stand on the side of the road that goes and pucks strawberries every morning!! Just cut them up and they are ready for lunches and deserts all week!! Yummy!!  - CentralCoastAuntVon  114.2 #3431 9:07PM
Hi and  on !!! Those strawberries sound yumsters! I have to go get some. The strawberries I get are so fresh I need to wash the dirt clods off!! Here on the Central Coast our summer strawberries are amazing!!
