Love all things Disney! I don't even mind the lines, it allows for conversation. Daughter loves it as much as I do, wifey is close but calls it after 8-10 hours :)! "Be kind b/c everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle". Plato

Can’t stop the feeling by Justin Timberlake. Hello from western NY! It's 3:30 am here and I just woke up. Given I had been napping most of the day.  What ever has got you down, hopefully it will turn around.Thoughs, prayers and good vibes your way. Currently I'm upstate, so eating buffalo wings and regional foods.  Fun fact, while not as well known as NYC pizza or Chicago pizza, pizza here is very different, and pretty darn tasty!   More...

Oh Heavenly Father, our special Mousewait friend needs you. She has prayed so many times for many of us. We join together at this time and ask that you bless her. Please help and support her in her time of need. Stay by her side and give her the strength she needs. We ask this in Jesus' name.  - disneyforme  523.8 #432 9:43PM

Good evening! Thank you for hosting, you're amazing at it! I worked today, off for the next 2. I go back for 2 days then on vacation for a week. My sons birthday is next Saturday, so I always make sure I'm off for that. I love prime rib and steak.  My son picked prime rib for his birthday dinner so I'm happy!  Love cookies too! I'm always baking and my son is always making us creme Brulee. He's getting really good at it! I'll definitely keep you in my prayers.  I'm sorry you're in a difficult time.  I hope everything works out ok for you soon. If you ever need anything let me know, whether it's to talk or anything you may need, I'll try to help.   - disneygrandma1  837.5 #9 9:31PM
I was getting ready to post  to you and I didn't know where your comment was. They get bumped up and I get tunnel vision looking at the next one. Thank you again. And thanks for the offer to talking help. Right now I just need prayers of help , protection and mercy. 😘😘 I too love prime rib and steak and every kind and of steak. I think my favorite is steak  with lobster. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Or king crab. Or shrimp πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ I love the whole surf and turf  combo.  - secretagentangel  8054.2 #11 10:28PM

πŸ‘‹ from NY...I let my niece make me a martini, she rocked it! And now good night 😴

I never really had many toys being in a large family and we played outside/camped/fish/water ski etc but one year when I was eight I got a Baby Tender Love, the first doll that felt soft. I loved that doll and always tucked it into bed. So.....when our house burned down one summer day (miracle as Mom and all 5 kids were out of the house) we came home and firefighters were still there and one came up and handed me my doll! In the fire and smoke they thought it was a real baby and one firefighter tossed it from the second story window to one waiting below. Not much else saved that day (except us). Thanks for hosting. - ShariRenee  11346.2 #8 10:15PM
Great story! - TinyDancerTay  566.4 #391 10:20PM
That's crazy! Do you still have it? - EvilqueenRS  700.0 #301 10:22PM
Wow, what a special story. I can't even imagine how scary seeing your house on fire could have been for you as a child, but what a blessing to have the entire family safe and out of the danger of the fire. Were you able to keep the doll after the fire?  - DarthTinkerbell  989.4 #206 10:27PM
I had her forever and then gave her to a neighbor young girl when I was in college. I still have a tiny version that I got a year later that my Great Grandma made all the clothes for. - ShariRenee  11346.2 #8 10:28PM
That is so precious, and so thoughtful of you to give to a neighbor. I hope she treasures it forever. - DarthTinkerbell  989.4 #206 10:39PM

When I was a kid I had all of the Star Wars toys   I had them for years till I discovered fire crackers. Then I started blowing them up and having big battles. Lost many storm troopers in those battles. Bless their souls they are in a better place now. (The dump) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - grumpyinphx  739.4 #285 11:16PM
Somehow, I totally see you doing this!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚Such brave soldiers your Stormtroopers were. - DarthTinkerbell  989.4 #206 11:22PM
I was obsessed with my little ponies!! I still have a few of my favorites still. And Care Bears and Littlest Pet Shop critters (before all the above got weird looking. Haha) My favorite toy of all time was a Pound Puppy named marshmallow and he's still in my room to this day, and I'm almost 28 πŸ˜‚ - FoolishMortal138  518.0 #438 7:02AM
Pound Puppies were adorable. ❀️ You are right about the LPS critters though. They did hit a very odd looking phase. My daughter was into those for a bit. - DarthTinkerbell  989.4 #206 11:02AM
Barbie, Ken and Skipper. My mom spent hours making clothes for Barbie. For a 50 year old, she's managed to keep her figure and can still fit into her clothes. My granddaughters have her now. My other favorite toy was a "creepy crawler" oven. Various bug molds and special goop that solidified when heated. I don't like real bugs, but I don't run screaming from them either. - crazyfriends  3.4 #31149 11:41AM
I looooooved my creepy crawler stuff!! Wish I kept that around for my son now. I can still smell the burning plastic smell....oh memories 😊 - FoolishMortal138  518.0 #438 3:36PM

Chewbacca *mic drop

Aloha. It's been a busy day here with school work for the kiddos and ear making galore! If I could choose any character to be my friend, I'd probably choose Peter Pan. I mean, he's always up to something, flying around, knows mermaids, and plays super fun games with his shadow. What could be better than that? - DarthTinkerbell  989.4 #206 9:24PM
And he never wants to grow up that's like the number one thing. We need  to hang with the people who only want to be kids forever.πŸ˜„ then everyone will skip down main street with us.πŸ’ƒ - secretagentangel  8054.2 #11 9:37PM

If you click the MW clock at the top right hand corner of your post and wait for the drop down menu to appear, you should see a "MP" which stands for "move post". Select Disneyland Talk Land so more MWers can help answer this question. Good luck.  - RadiatorSprings4Ever  2299.6 #73 5:35PM

I think like that every time my daughter asks to do something and I don't wanna...which ultimately means in the end I do. Fun fact I'm the only person I know that actually admits to liking Miley Cyrus 😳

Fun fact, my daughter wants to be at rope drop tomorrow...which means I actually dislike her.

Definitely volleyball. I played indoor in high school and beach volleyball in the early 70's before it was a pro or Olympic sport. One of my teammates from school has a daughter who's a pro beach volleyballer right now. I would have loved to be in the Olympics. Go Carrie & April!! - debbiev  1470.6 #126 9:59PM
I live near where a lot of the players practice, plus we have a few tournaments. Fun to watch! Such a crazy atmosphere!  - secretagentangel  8054.2 #11 10:23PM
secretagentangel I played in Redondo & Hermosa.πŸ˜‰ - debbiev  1470.6 #126 10:37PM
Oops, it's Kerri....not Carrie. - debbiev  1470.6 #126 11:17PM
Yeah, my regular house is over there! They stopped the Manhattan open from being such a party when people started bringing sofas out in the beach!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ - secretagentangel  8054.2 #11 11:37PM
When I lived in Redondo (PCH & Beryl) I would ride my bike up there and put my chair in the sand right near the sidelines. That was the early 70's. You sure can't do that now! It's a zoo anymore, but it sure was fun back then! - debbiev  1470.6 #126 12:13AM
Watching the olympics...and yes it would be waaaay better cheering than competing for me! πŸ˜‚ I'm trying to make my night last...back to work tomorrow!  - luxkitty  4402.7 #36 9:17PM

I cheered for water polo in college and made the cheerleaders come to the matches as i was on the swim team with all the players. I had to sub a game once and just tried not to get hurt. It's such an intense fun sport. - secretagentangel  8054.2 #11 12:57PM
We've had tons of fun watching this week.  My husband is a swimmer and I was a gymnast, so there has been lots of cheering going on.  I played lots of sports growing up but gymnastics was the first thing I tried (we don't count the disastrous few weeks of ballet when I was four--lets just say it was clear to my mom that I'd be better suited for tumbling and flying around πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚).  If I were to choose any sport to compete in, that would be what I would choose.  I loved it and definitely dreamed of going to the Olympics like Shannon Miller and Nadia Comaneci.  There was this movie they used to play on the Disney channel called Nadia, and it told the story of Nadia Comaneci and the Karoyli's. I would spend hours "practicing" while watching the movie πŸ˜‚   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  648.2 #332 10:50AM
My reply disappeared! It's so great that you still love gymnastics. The Karoyli's  have built team USA up to a dynasty. Mrs. Karoyli' is retiring this year so I hope they have a good replacement. And swimming is another great sport!  - secretagentangel  8054.2 #11 2:12PM
