Does anybody know if the long lost friends M&G is over?

Yes, it's over. - DisneyDavidEMT  2835.9 #60 5:58PM
I asked about this last time and LLF was Limited Time Magic which was only last year. They have a random character meet and greets set up by BTR still though - SpiritOfAdventure  1085.5 #208 5:59PM
Thank you. I thought I heard it was till May. Things change all the time. - srychlyk  4.0 #26275 6:00PM
That's not LLF that's going on. It's 6 groups of characters that rotate out. It's like LLF but called Roundup this time. And it is happening until May - thatgirljenn  1978.2 #101 6:03PM
As of Sunday they were still doing the rotational characters at the ranch like the evil step sisters and Horace Horsecollar. This is a different event from long Lost Friends. In Long Lost friends a variety of guest selected characters come out for one week only to take pictures with visiting guests. The ranch event going on now was originally scheduled to run through may but it looks like it will soon be switching for Easter and bunny characters that will be making an appearance there. Hope this helps and didn't confuse you more - missmimi90  2080.1 #92 6:06PM

Has anybody ate at Cafe Orleans and is that a good place to eat and watch Fantasmic!? Is there somewhere else better to watch Fantasmic!

Haven't watched Famtasmic from there but the food is amazing. Call for reservations. - NascarDave  325.0 #882 5:50AM
Food is great, not sure about the view,( seems like there would be a lot of people standing and walking in front of you..) - carminaire  1129.7 #196 6:00AM
Pommes frites are delicious and everyone has to try the Monty cristo at least once.. - sultan  465.3 #542 7:50AM
I have watched fantasmic from there. There is one table in the corner of the patio that has an okayish view. But if its your first time watching fantasmic, I wouldn't suggest it. I would say make a reservation and plan to finish about 30-45 minutes before Fantasmic, and try to get a spot on the raised area right in front of the restaurant. It doesn't tend to fill up as fast. Or, if you're going on a night with two showings, and can wait to eat that late, eat there during the first showing. You can then swoop in and get a great spot as the first crowd leaves. Good luck! - LittleAprilShowers  588.5 #400 12:22PM

I'm new to all of this. My family is planning a trip to Disneyland next year. My kids have never been there before. The last time I was there I was a kid. We are staying at the Best Western Anaheim Inn. Is that a good hotel and location? Which restaurant is the best for character dining? Thank you for all of your guys help.

Welcome to MouseWait! I really like Goofy's Kitchen for character dining. Great buffet and lots of characters that do a great job of getting around to every table. They are so wondeful interacting with the kids too. It is located at the Disneyland Hotel. - Katsza  128.4 #3247 9:35PM
Katsza is correct, 110%! - BombFrogFormerCM  1187.6 #182 9:49PM
Welcome to the MW lounge. No experience with that hotel, but my fave character dining is at Goofy's Kitchen...brunch over dinner. - Linzee  2068.9 #95 9:45PM
Spot on recommendation, Linzee! - BombFrogFormerCM  1187.6 #182 9:50PM
Thank you everybody. I'm trying to make a magical vacation for my kids since it will be the only time we will be able to go. - srychlyk  4.0 #26275 4:10PM
Welcome to MW! I think goofy's kitchen is a great experience for sure! I've never stayed at that hotel but honestly your there for Disneyland... You only sleep there. It's all about the HAPPY place and it has changed quite a bit over the years so just enjoy yourselves. When you get your maps of the parks just decide what's most important to see and enjoy exploring!!! Let the countdown begin! - MinnieMyLove  247.5 #1521 4:30PM
