Got a wonderful surprise today! Little Luke goes great with the rest of the crew on my desk! A huge thanks to HiddenMickeyFanatic for this, I was really surprised and humbled! May the Force be with you!!!
With help from starwarsmamma I am doing a rak. She said to call it a "join the dark side" rak but I'm a Jedi, and that seems wrong. So it's a "Vader needs love too" rak.
To enter yourself or somebody else just say what you plan or want to dress up as for Halloween. I will select a winner October 5th. MTFBWY!
I don't get on here often but I wanted to for a second to say it was great to meet so many of you at our last Disney trip before moving to Portland. We had a great time hanging with two awesome ladies, I don't remember their screen names here sorry, who watched our snoozing Jedi so starwarsmama and I could ride Star Tours together and were just awesome to hangout with! The big meet up the next day More...
The winner of the Darth Vader pin by random number is #35 lohofosh who added for SpiritOfAdventure. Thanks everybody for entering my first rak, it was cool to see who all your favorite Star Wars characters are. MTFBWY.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. I'm lucky enough to be able to celebrate being this smiley boys father and make lots of amazing Disney memories with him so young. Hope you all have a great day celebrating with your families at the park or wherever. MTFBWY
Where would you recommend taking your sweetie on her birthday for dinner and what's best to eat there? Trying to plan this ahead of time so I can make reservations if needed. (I'm not worried if she sees this she still will not know where we are going till that evening.)
Hello everyone! I'm Lucien (Daniel) Starwarsmamma's husband, I got to meet a lot of you at Disneyland about a month ago at the reunion. I am a youth pastor, former Marine, martial artist, and sabersmith (I build lightsabers) I'm stoked Disney bought Lucasfilm, and I hold high hopes for the new films. My favorite rides are Star Tours and Toy Story!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
