I live near Vancouver, Canada. I LOVE all things Disney! I don't get to Disneyland as often as I'd like, but I countdown to the next trip ALL the time 😊

Sometimes, when you least expect it, Disneyland magic sneaks up on you! During my last trip, my husband and I decided to go to Goofy's kitchen for breakfast. We saw lots of characters and had a delicious meal, but I was a little bit disappointed that I only saw one princess, and that it happened to be Jasmine (not that there's anything wrong with her - I just never really had any sort of connectio  More...

Pay it forward #RAK! I've been fortunate enough to win 2 "Tractor X-ing" stickers, so I'm going to be giving one away! I have picked a number between 1 and 30 (30 was my lucky number for winning one of the stickers!) first 30 people to comment are entered into the draw, and I'll post the winner when it closes. Good luck! 😊
Hi! Please add me to the drawing. Thank you! - SambaMami  4.8 #15837 8:44PM

Alright, I'm going to "call" the RAK even though there aren't 30 people... I picked the number 17 originally, since July 17th is both Hubby and DL's birthdays, but I'm going to just go ahead and make that 7, if that's okay with everyone?? Hubby picked the number 2, since we got married on May 2 (which, incidentally was just over 2 months ago, and was followed by our second trip to DL together!) Congrats to @MyPunzel711 on your new   sticker, and the ever-so-lucky @MrsSchnooks for the bonus  sticker! 😊 They're on the way! - ames013  43.4 #4483 11:50AM

Alright MouseWaiters - I need you professional opinions!!! Hubby and I were talking about a Disneyland or (perhaps/ hopefully) a Disney World vacation for our Spring Break (sometime in and around March 13-28 2015) but the more I look at the past week, the more I'm compelled to go June 26/27 to July 3/4 next summer instead! It looks as though the crowds are more manageable, but maybe this past week  More...
If you have never need to DW, I would try that one. It's amazing to try at least once, especially Epcot.  - warchanted  113.5 #3134 9:10PM
Thanks! - ames013  43.4 #4483 9:22PM
You can never anticipate crowded or non-crowded days anymore because of the APs.  Go with the days and place you would prefer and enjoy everything about that time you have there.  I've never been to WDW either, so if you have the chance for WDW, I would do that. - Gabster1forDodgers  520.8 #330 2:55PM
Thanks! I thought the same about crowds (although this past week 2 different AP's are blocked, so that's why I was curious...) - ames013  43.4 #4483 3:04PM
Plus lately the crowds have seemed lower? - ames013  43.4 #4483 8:01PM
Only thing to add is that the weather is much better in March/April (I've been in spring, summer and fall, and spring is best...not as hot as summer, and not as many storms as fall), but the crowds are lower in summer (hotels are way cheaper also!). Β Definitely stay on property! - msdizmaui  581.5 #286 10:54PM
Great point...this June was super hot, we almost wanted it to rain haha!  - MinnieMousewife  726.1 #204 10:56PM
I agree!  To me, the weather is a bigger detergent than the crowds are.  I have a summer b-day and have been to the parks several times at that time, and while I love warm weather in my everyday life, I much prefer being in the parks when it's cooler.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  507.0 #344 10:57PM
"Detergent?"  Too funny, should be "deterent" but I'll leave it. πŸ˜‚  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  507.0 #344 10:58PM
Good one SoS...we knew what you meant!  But there's also the sticker shock when you see the hotel prices during Spring Break!  I went once in Oct. for a Disney Store Manager mtg.  The crowds were down but it stormed every day! - msdizmaui  581.5 #286 1:42AM
Are you referring to the weather in DL or WDW (or both??) we've been to DL twice recently at the beginning and end of May and both times it was a little cooler than we expected... The lower hotel price is a draw towards either place... I wasn't sure how the beginning of summer crowds at WDW compare to DL - with 2 APs blocked out at DL crowds seem smaller, but I didn't know if that translated over to WDW?? - ames013  43.4 #4483 11:06AM
I was talking about WDW.  - msdizmaui  581.5 #286 5:50PM
Thanks for the tips and experiences/ opinions! Still kind of torn, but leaning towards a decision now... (It really is win/win either way!) - ames013  43.4 #4483 10:06PM

Hello MouseWaiters!!! I'm hoping you might be able to help me... My hubby and I are coming to the realization that our amazing honeymoon trip in March May not quite be within budget... HOWEVER, another trip to Disneyland just may be (hooray for WestJet dollars!!!) We are available from March 13-29 and are planning at least 5 days in park, but I know this is Spring Break season.. My question to you  More...
I've gone two or three times during spring break season over the last six or seven years.  While it is crowded, I did not think it was insanely crowded during any of those trips.  However, my gauge of crowds is probably different than other peoples' because the only times I'm actually able to visit are on major holidays.  I did not think that it was as crowded as the week before Christmas was, if that's any help?    - Spoonful_O_Sugar  507.0 #344 9:03PM
That is helpful! Thank you! Have you been in summer? Just wondering how it compares...? - ames013  43.4 #4483 9:24PM
I would say try to find out when LA schools and other nearby districts have their spring break next year. Then try to go on a different week. Other cities will be off then, but it might not be as bad.  - warchanted  113.5 #3134 10:04PM
Thank you! Great suggestion! Anyone know the answer?? - ames013  43.4 #4483 10:43PM
I am confused by the dates, but what I can say is even if it's crowded (spring or summer) go early, use fast passes, take it easy and enjoy yourself!!! Have fun!!!!! - Boundin  489.3 #365 10:56PM
We have just over a 2-week window in which to plan the trip, so I was wondering when might be best within that time frame, if that makes more sense? (And I mentioned my most recent trip in case anyone could say how the two different times compare, or if they're quite similar) - ames013  43.4 #4483 8:52AM
We went just last April during Spring Break. It wasn't that bad. March seemed very crowded. It was right before Easter. - minniemonika  57.0 #0 6:30PM

Hi MouseWaiters! Just wondering if anyone has done a WDW/ Bahamas cruise? I'm just starting to look into it, and would like to get any and all information possible. I also have NEVER been to WDW, so I'll take any advice on that too! Thanks in advance!

We have the same issue every trip.  Do they still sell Pookalooz plush?  They don't have beans or anything that they dogs could swallow.  There used to be a kiosk near the DTD monorail station, but I doubt it's still there.  Don't think they appreciate a new collar, but you can get that at the leather place at the entrance to Frontierland!  Last idea...the little foamy baby football - that lasted about 12 seconds with my dog! - msdizmaui  581.5 #286 11:19PM

The leather store in Adventureland does dog collars! Ours has one: he got it the first time we took him to DL (he is not a service dog; we used the day kennel, which I highly recommend).  The collar has lasted him quite awhile and still looks great--lovely quality and of course we got it engraved.  My husband also had the idea to get him a pillow pet, so he has a Stitch one that he cuddles, then tries to eat and destroy (appropriate, really...he's our little Stitch), so it gets taken away periodically, lol.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  507.0 #344 11:26PM
