Good bye Disneyland! On the road back to Castro Valley. Other than getting the flu it was a great trip. Carsland is a must. and I got to go on all 3 new attractions and the trolley too. Lucked out and rode RSR in the day and night. Nighttime is the best. Had breakfast at Carnation Cafe and it was delicious. My youngest who loves to draw went to the animation academy many times. Lots of awesome pin More...
#Pin Trading. Today I was pin trading in the Jingle Jangle Jamboree are. There is a green tree with hidden boxes and you can trade for what is behind the little door.Fun idea. I picked a box a the CM told me this pin is little but it is an old pin. I did see a picture of it on pin pics. This picture shows the size compared to a regular pin.
#Bay area Disney fans there is warehouse sale in Hayward next to Southland mall. Opened yesterday and I was told more merchandise coming next week. If sales are good they will be there til December. If you go sign up to get emails. I got 10% off because I had a flyer.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
