Supposedly the author writes of Walt's service to the FBI as a secret informant and other not to Disney like dealings Walt had in business and his personal life. Don't know if any of what this guy writes is true, but I'm going to read it anyway. - Diznimom

I have read most of these books on Walt Disney, including this one. it ended up in my recycle pile, it seems to be written by someone who has many issues with Walt being successful. it made me grumpy when I read it. :-( - secretagentangel

Angels for Abby update: After getting the OK to travel from her doctor, Abby and her family headed down to DL yesterday. Today she is headed to the park, plus it's her birthday! She'll have a birthday lunch at Ariel's Grotto at 11:30. If any of you are going to the park and happen to see her, please wish her a Happy Birthday. I know that may be impossible with the crowds, but miracles can happen.

I cannot believe what just happened to my nephew's wife and son! I so understand how frustrating and upsetting that is. I work with kids and they honestly can't think beyond themselves. I'm so sorry this happened. I'm hoping it didn't let it get to him and he knows that people are out there that don't know their own self worth and find it easy to destroy someone else's to feel like they do. I'm not one to wish bad things upon people, even if they do such horrible things, but I am someone who prays that they one day see their wrong in their actions and stop before hurting anyone else. Hope you erase this from your vacation and just focus on the great moments you had. Hope you safely return home with a smile of all the good that did happen. - MarshaMouse

I just wanted to give you all an update on my previous post regarding the donation of funds to help send little Abby Grace to DL for her birthday this month. I just read that an anonymous donor gave the last bit of money to the family to complete the cost of the trip. I hope this is the place to post this. One of the teachers at the high school I used to teach at has a young daughter battling cancer. Abby is 5 years old and been fighting this disease for some time. The latest news showed the cancer is still there so she is going to have to undergo another round of chemo. Abby's birthday is coming up in March and her wish is to go back to Disneyland. Make a Wish More...

Does anyone know where the Disney Soda Shoppe is in Hollywood? Is it located by the El Capitan? My daughter and I are going to a Dodgers/Giants game on April 3rd and we'd like to stop there before going to the game.

I just read in The Fresno Bee entertainment section that tomorrow, Saturday, they ate having the 49ers Disney Daze Event, "Where Dreams are Relived" event in Oakhurst. One of the featured speakers is Don Ballard who has written 2 books on the Disneyland Hotel. They will also have Margaret Kerry, the model for Tinkerbelle.

Today is our own Princess Aurora's 5th birthday. She wanted to celebrate her birthday at Disneyland, but we couldn't. Instead she is having a luau party today. Happy Birthday to our Princess Aurora!

Need help here. We have a date for when we will be going to DL. I know there is a MW rate we can get at the HOJO. How does it work? Do I have to call the place and ask for the rate? Plus any idea of what the price is? Anyone use the MW rate there. Thanks.

Just found out from Sr_citizen_space_ranger that the Disney Star Wars 2012 vinylmation collection will be available at D Street in DTD tomorrow. Mickey is Luke Skywalker, Minnie is Princess Leia. Someone posted a picture of the vinyls earlier.
