Heading to disneyland Sun- Wednesday what is Sunday afternoon - evening like never been their on a weekend

I have four days there but I wanted to do the jingle cruise and haunted mansion before they close.  - invader  8.8 #12667 6:59PM
You should be fine. Haunted Mansion has fast passes, and Jingle Cruise hasn't generally had really long waits. Have fun! - redsoxcarlos  4120.9 #41 7:09PM
Sunday afternoon is usually busy, since more passholder do have access. And with this Sunday being the last day before Big Thunder Ranch closes, and Rivers of America goes down for a while, that may add to the crowds. But, always fun. Enjoy! - redsoxcarlos  4120.9 #41 6:52PM
Me and my girlfriend are both disabled with scooters, we have to be very careful of the little ones  so we have never gone at night before.  - invader  8.8 #12667 7:22PM

How busy is disneyland the week after Halloween can anyone tell me what the crowds might be like

The crowds might be white, Hispanic , African American , Indian, Pacific Islander , non Hispanic and other . There also might be some service dogs a s service spider monkeys which is all the rage these days ..I would personally like to train service kangaroos and bring my little Joey to the parks ..I could use her to Cary my stuff in her pouch and kick people who get in my reminds me of the time I was a little boy growing up in the outback of Australia and my grandmother would sing to me how all the little children of the world were red and yellow black and white and that Jesus loved all the children of the world - Dave  13832.5 #4 1:00PM

Hi everyone maybe you could help me figure out the das system me and my girlfriend are both disable and have scooters will we need a Das pass some say yes some say no

I haven't personally had any experience with it but when the new GAC system came out there was lots of discussion and info in the lounge. If you do a search you should get lots of helpful material :) - TheDroidYouAreLookingFor  473.0 #493 12:53PM
If both of you are on scooters, you probably will not be given a DAS, because you will be instructed to get a return time for the ride you would want to go on. Scooters can always go through the handicap entrance (at the exit of each ride). The DAS is for another type of handicap need. However, I'd suggest to call Guest Relations and get more information from them πŸ˜ƒ - LaBelleParis  1403.4 #138 1:00PM
To clarify, the scooters will go through the DAS line or be given a return time for Disneyland attractions. From what I remember, DCA will make you go through the standard queue since their queues are ADA compliant.  - CM_Shadowgamer  2645.7 #57 1:47PM
Thank you  - invader  8.8 #12667 5:14PM
I am also confused about the new rules, even after many patient mousewaiter's posts explaining them. I understand DCA was built to be ADA compliant, just not sure about the rules for Disneyland. But CMs are always helpful if you cannot figure it out. Don"t hesitate to ask, they will gladly help you through it. That is exactly what I intend to do.  Good Luck. - snowgrey  8.5 #12963 5:36PM

Seems crowded today is school out

Some children have vacation this week while others may have been taken out by good parents😊😊 - misschurro  7865.5 #14 3:51PM
The best parents are the ones who take their kids out of school to do fun stuff once in awhile. I really really don't like the awards assemblies where the kids are recognized for perfect attendance, poor kids. - UTDISNEYFAMILY  2055.1 #87 3:58PM
Our school no longer does that nor do they do student of the month – thank goodness! - misschurro  7865.5 #14 4:14PM

I know today is the first day of the new policy on disabilities if anyone is in the park today could you let me know how it goes. Me and my girlfriend are both disabled any coming in Nov with our family and want to know if our family will be able to ride with us. It is sometimes hard to get out and in of some rides Thank you

I'm sure there will be many reports coming soon.  The good news is that you are not going right away and hopefully by your trip they have the kinks worked out.  I'm anxiously awaiting the reports as well. - Sarafina  491.7 #470 10:18AM

I,m sorry for this long post but I am still confused about the new disability rules. I went in May of this year and I think I experienced what it might be like on star tours we got a pass to come back later and went up the exit is this what is going to happen now. I going in nov with 7 people my disabled girlfriend we both have scooter and our five kids will they be able to assist us on getting on  More...

We'll know more when it rolls out and CMs are trained.  Right now it's all kind of hearsay.  You will have lots more information come about October 9th.  - IDVandalSkipperCM  2638.7 #58 12:00PM here is a link with a lot of the detailed info in it. Hope this helps. - missmimi90  2050.7 #88 11:58AM

I'm a little anxious about the change from GAC to DAS.  Two of my three kids have Autism Spectrum Disorder, my son is profoundly impacted by autism.  I think the "return pass" part is reasonable and fair.  I am a little concerned about only being able to have one attraction/return time at a time.  I'm concerned about finding ways that all five of us can enjoy the park together, during that wait time, without having to split into two different groups.  I am also concerned about finding things that my son can enjoy and do during that time, without increasing his anxiety or causing him to experience a sensory overload.  I'm not sure about how this will change the other accommodations we took advantage of when we used a GAC.  For instance, my son often needs additional time to board vehicles - even though he enjoys many rides, the transition into the vehicles are always difficult.  Since we only get to come to DLR every few years, I am glad our visit in November is for five days.  I don't think we are going to be able to experience the park as efficiently or as fully as we did under the GAC system.   - DreadPiratesRogers  852.9 #237 9:13PM

I am going to Disneyland the first week in November when do they take down the Halloween decor and will any rides be closed because of it

all of the halloween decor will go down nov 1st, but haunted mansion holiday will remain the same, and last year they left ghost galaxies up an extra week or 2 so hopefully that will still be running! - dethrizu  301.1 #980 10:12AM

I am going to Disneyland in a week I am disabled with a scooter how do I do the rides

Most rides have an option for someone in a scooter. The cm at the entrance of each ride will be able to inform you whether you will have to be ambulatory. They can then direct you to the entrance that will accommodate you. Just keep in mind that just because you will be skipping the lines, this does not always mean immediate boarding. - LittleAprilShowers  587.7 #379 5:13PM
Thank you all for your help it has been a long time since I have been able to travel I will enjoy myself - invader  8.8 #12667 6:50PM
Most of the rides you just enter the exit, but check with a CM and they'll point you in the right direction. Have a fun trip. - EdLovesAlvena  259.9 #1336 5:35PM
