TheBearandtheBow's MouseWait
TheBearandtheBow 67.5 #4124

I'm a mother of 2 from NM who loves anything and everything Disney. I would love to visit the parks more but being so far away makes it close to impossible. MouseWait is my Disney escape from the comfort of my home.

world or color dining package, worth it? Yay or Nay?

If you get the Wine Country package....then YES! You sit up front and center. Carthay Circle your seating is in the center section but towards the back. I am not sure where Ariels Grotto is at but it will be center just not sure if up front or towards the back.  - Nikki3Mous3  57.0 #4374 8:32AM
We did Carthay Circle WOC Package and had front row for the show - LennaH  155.4 #2586 10:54AM
We have tried all 3 dining package locations and our experience has been that Wine Country Trattoria has the best viewing location. - MrsFletch  227.3 #1598 12:50PM
I did Ariel's recently. It's down front. Everyone rushed forward and my friends and I went to the back part of that section to stand on the top steps. Great view.  - JenGwen323  1767.7 #90 11:02PM
We did carthay circle and were in the very back and couldn't see anything so didn't think it was worth it.  - DisneyLuvinMama  360.3 #611 8:57AM
I think it is worth it. You get a great viewing angle of the show. My personal favorite restaurant for the dining package is Wine Country Trattoria due to its superior viewing location and, of course, the food. If you plan your meal at dinner time, you can watch the Pixar Play Parade from your table! - MrsFletch  227.3 #1598 12:40PM
@TheBearandtheBow I have a youtube channel with reviews of all 3 WOC dining packages if you wanna check em out :-)Β  - LennaH  155.4 #2586 1:56PM

Okay so we have set our dates for our next Disney trip and I couldn't be more excited! We have decided to go Thanksgiving week, I know to expect some crazy crowds being a holiday, but what can we expect from the park. Any holiday dΓ©cor up yet by then?

Oh LOTS!!! Well, ALL the decor will be up by then. Great way to get into a festive mood! You will love it - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  5833.8 #18 6:46AM
Will the diamond celebration stuff still be going on? Like the light parade, world of color and such? - TheBearandtheBow  67.5 #4124 8:20AM

Okay so I'm looking for suggestions and opinions of all you very experienced Disneylanders. I am currently planning a trip for this winter. We are looking to go during either Christmas or Thanksgiving break later this year. With the diamond celebration going on I'm assuming the park is gonna be crazy busy no matter the day. So my question is this, Which do u think would be best? Thanksgiving or Ch  More...

We were there at Christmas Break this year and it was CRazy!!! I think both times will be bad but I would say Thanksgiving might be a teeny tiny bit better. - wonderlandgirl  346.9 #647 12:56PM
I've always dreamed of seeing the castle lit up which is why we are planning to go over winter break.  - TheBearandtheBow  67.5 #4124 3:14PM
I would say if you can swing it, the first week of December. Or the first part of Thanksgiving break. Otherwise it's crazy. Avoid going during Christmas break. That's the worst week of the year. Add in the 60th and I expect it to be insane.  - IDVandalSkipperCM  2412.7 #55 3:43PM
Wow! Hmm. May be worth rescheduling our trip. Will the park still be decorated for the diamond celebration? How long is the celebration gonna last? - TheBearandtheBow  67.5 #4124 3:57PM
I have heard that it's supposed to go about 18 months.  We haven't had an official time announced yet. - IDVandalSkipperCM  2412.7 #55 9:18PM
We really want to experience the Christmas decor but we really, really want to experience the diamond parade, world of color and fireworks.  - TheBearandtheBow  67.5 #4124 8:22AM

Okay so I've been seeing this picture circulating the popular social media sites and I figured if anyone could debunk this it would be my MW friends. So the picture is circulating with a caption that says "just write a letter to your favorite Disney character and get an autographed 8 x 10". Does anyone know how true this is?

Okay so this may be asking a lot but I'm really praying for some Disney Magic. My little 4 yr old Princess was just given the news that she has to wear glasses. I also stumbled upon a book 'real princesses wear glasses'...not Disney but might be worth a read from the library.  Disney also has a princess frame line.  My kiddo was 6 when she needed glasses, it took a few weeks for her to accept it and start looking for frames...she still chooses ones with a lil bling ✨. - Linzee  1142.5 #150 12:30PM
I can't find the image online, but a little while ago Target had a tshirt of Ariel wearing hipster glasses. It was super cute! Maybe seeing something like that could help her too!  - Geekery  409.4 #519 8:18PM
I found a few images on Pinterest but the princesses look so angry or upset. I'm still searching for a smiling princess in glasses.  - TheBearandtheBow  67.5 #4124 10:30AM
At my optometrist office I've also seen that Disney has a line of children's glasses that have some characters on them. Maybe she will enjoy that if she picks out one she likes. - MrsGoodface  58.9 #4337 12:52AM

Okay so towerofterrorprincess posted a discussion about a song on TLM that got me curious. How many of u mommy, daddy, aunts or uncles remember what their Mini's first disney song was? For mine it was "baby mine" from dumbo and "part of your world" from the little mermaid. Please share yours!!!

Those crazy cats of mine have heard so many I can't remember their first. They like the loading BluRay doohickey thingy more than the music. - Cinderella_Schnooks  3249.7 #40 8:14PM
I went and saw Tarzan in the theater when I was 8 months pregnant with my first, then bought the cd and listened to it. After she was born, any time she wouldn't stop crying all I had to do was turn on the first song with the drum intro and she would instantly stop crying and calm down and often fall asleep. So I think that would be her first Disney song 😊 - DisneyOnesie  621.2 #312 9:39PM
Aww, that's really sweet! - duckchub  557.8 #350 9:41PM
