I'm a mother of 2 from NM who loves anything and everything Disney. I would love to visit the parks more but being so far away makes it close to impossible. MouseWait is my Disney escape from the comfort of my home.

I told my husband that the only thing I wanted for my birthday today was to go to Disneyland to see all the Christmas lights so instead he drove us just 54 miles from home to see the Christmas lights on the Pecos River hahaha. Close enough I guess hahaha
Okay so I've been seeing this picture circulating the popular social media sites and I figured if anyone could debunk this it would be my MW friends. So the picture is circulating with a caption that says "just write a letter to your favorite Disney character and get an autographed 8 x 10". Does anyone know how true this is?
Okay so this may be asking a lot but I'm really praying for some Disney Magic. My little 4 yr old Princess was just given the news that she has to wear glasses. Needless to say she's not happy about it. She says real Princesses don't wear glasses. 😞 I'm asking if anyone in the parks can take a couple pics of the princesses wearing glasses just so she can see that they really do!! It breaks my h More...
In honor of the great luck I've had on the last few RAKs I'm going to RAK off our digital copy of planes to one lucky person. Only rule is you must have DM enabled. Ends Friday at 9:00 pm mountain time! Good luck everyone!!
Okay so I get on Mousewait to see if there are any cool pics posted from the Halloween party and I see I have 2 stickers from SOA. This is surely a mistake right. If not, THANK YOU SOA!!! That was sweet and generous. Now how do I display them? Lol
Okay so towerofterrorprincess posted a discussion about a song on TLM that got me curious. How many of u mommy, daddy, aunts or uncles remember what their Mini's first disney song was? For mine it was "baby mine" from dumbo and "part of your world" from the little mermaid. Please share yours!!!
#RAK. This is my first attempt at doing a RAK. I haven't been lucky enough to actually win one so I'm hoping this gets my lucky streak going hahaha 😉 these are Infinity Power Disc that we have doubles of. a simple Add me is all I need! Good Luck!!
I hadn't even realized I hit 50!! So I promised myself I would make an official intro to my fellow MWers. I am a stay at home mother of 2 living in south east New Mexico. I spent my childhood wishes and prayers hoping to one day see Disneyland. It took me 25 years of dreams, wishes and prayers before I finally got to walk thru those gates. 5 years later I am making my 3rd return visit! I wish we l More...
I was curious if anybody here has done the WOC dinner at Ariel's Grotto. We're debating on whether or not we should make the extra expense. Also does anyone know if price listed is the full meal per person? Any info would help greatly
Visiting the parks in 30 days!!! We've always stopped at World of Disney Store for all our keepsakes and souvenirs, I was wondering what some of u expert MWers thought was the best place to pick up some memorabilia
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
