Cruella DeVil at the dance party!! She was hilarious. Earlier in the day, a group of teenagers were near the entrance and she walked over to them and said " come on! group photo! (Stands and poses with them) This is the best day of your life!" Lol
Was watching the Repunzel show today and it was great! While waiting to meet and greet Flynn and Repunzel, I witnessed a young girl about 3 or 4 who was super nervous to move towards the princess to say hello. Her mother couldn't make her budge, and a cast member tried to as well. All of a sudden, Repunzel walks over to the girl, gives her a hug and talks with her. Then, she takes the girl back ov More...
Can anyone help? How much are the autograph books in the parks? I've been trying to purchase ones at the Disney store, but both locations near me have been sold out for weeks. Please let me know if you are able! Thanks!
Any news on the special food treats that will be available during the 4th of July week? I have heard "At Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, chefs whip up tasty treats inspired by Americana including these at Disneyland: red, white and blue mason jar desserts at Carnation Café’ and patriotic cotton candy, apple pie pockets and Fourth of July cupcakes, in shops all al More...
Hi everyone! 2 weeks until I am at Disneyland for the first time! I am so excited. I was wondering what your typical outfit at Disneyland is? I am worried about sweating too much! Is that typical to see lots of sweaty clothes and people? lol. Thanks for your help!
My trip to Disneyland is a little over a month away! What is your outfit of choice at the parks? I wanted a lululemon travel pooch (kind of like a fanny pack) for the trip but its not being sold anymore :-( Are fanny packs the way to go?Any things I should remember to pack? Thanks in advance everyone :-)
What are your thoughts on bringing a babysitter/nanny on your vacation to Disney? Do you know someone who has? I was taken to New Orleans as the babysitter when I was younger and I was happy to help so the parents could go out at night, and offer an extra set of hands. Just curious as to your thoughts :)
I'm curious about how much walking we will be doing on our trip to Disneyland! I was wondering if you have a pedometer, or app that tracks miles if some of you wouldn't mind keeping track and reporting it here? It would be interesting to see the differences!! Thanks :)
If anyone is in the parks and goes in one of the merchandise stores, can you take a pic or short video of the women's Disney tanks? I want to get one when I go! I can't find many good ones online, even from the Disney store. Thank you in advance! :)
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
