My young neice was being very grumpy from a long day at Disneyland. All of a sudden a cm started making funny faces at her, and hid behind a statue when she looked at him. He kept doing it, and her mood brightened in an instant. He was dressed as a cowboy near big thunder ranch bbq. She grabbed her autograph book, all smiles, and went to talk to him for a while. She came back with a huge smile and More...
I saw Belle twice when I was in the parks. Once, she was leaving, and the other time a CM was at the end of the line turning people away. She is my favorite princess and I was so upset :( Maybe someday in the future! I would have liked to meet her in this outfit rather than her ball gown.
I noticed if you sit towards the back the guy on the right looks like he's staring right at you! Didn't find that the case the other times I sat towards the front. Maybe it was just my imagination but Eek!! Lol
Good idea about the dessert! I purchased the cookie/ice cream one, and 4 of us, after a big satisfying meal, could only eat half! I felt so bad walking away with that gloriousness still in the pan, lol. Going just for dessert is such a great idea! :)
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
