I'll be there on the 25th. Go in early to make the most of your time. Also bring your own treat bag/backpack for the loads of candy you'll get. And adults definitely do dress up so go for it!

It very clearly says that everyone using these tickets must be an ap. I was wondering about it too.

I just got an answer, non-passholders are able to use tickets purchased by AP's. - MARVELus  63.8 #4151 1:20PM

πŸ˜” oh no. The CM I spoke to couldn't tell me how fast they sell out when I asked. Hopefully you will if you purchase them that same day they are released to the public.  - MARVELus  63.8 #4151 10:34PM
Usually Halloween night is more expensive than the other nights so perhaps it won't sell out as quickly. - MrsFletch  167.7 #2362 10:45PM
last year i heard people talking about mhp being sold out and how the hotel was trying to find them tix.  it is best to assume that disneyland stuff sells out and be prepared. - MsTikiMermadam  369.2 #578 12:45AM
They do sell out some nights but not usually till later past August.  - secretagentangel  1950.9 #75 1:30AM

Got stuck on Thunder Mountain once. Kid in front of me was scared and worried that grandma was freaking out. I let him use my phone and helped him through the walk off.

Park rules: must be 7 (maybe 8😁) to ride alone, 14 to enter the park alone. Β I think when you let your kids take that step, it depends on the maturity of your kid. Β Mine has had an ap since she was 4...she grew up going to DL and has huge respect for the park and other guests. Β When she hit 8, she stopped riding most attractions with me and would stand in line and pretend like she didn't know me 😭. Β She waited alone in lines at attractions that I didn't want to go on. Β At 12 she was able to go off on her own, at 14 she was able to spend half a day there alone. Β She loves that little bit of independence...me not so much because that means she growing up πŸ˜₯πŸ˜‚ Β Β  - Linzee  1095.3 #154 11:13PM
This. - Darlingwendi  1205.2 #134 11:26PM
I think 14 is a good age. But good to know she still has limits. Drfiney depends on maturity Β but I hope she goes with friend. Disney a pretty safe place. I can remember taking off with friend then meeting my parents later. At 14 I hoped it was much later he he. I do love that my Grandkids love to spend time with us. (16. 18) Even with their friends.Β Of course we do what they want. That's what Gma/Gpas do - suzieq65  52.9 #4450 11:40PM
I like to think, what if the ride broke down and they were stuck there for an hour. Could they handle it or would they freak out? If they could handle it, then they are ok. I believe standing in line for just about anything is age 7, but to be in park alone is 14. - DLKenCA  2320.8 #55 11:13PM
I'd say follow this πŸ‘† but also how you feel as a parent and you know how your kids will act. As a parent and also a child of parents that still go to DL with me, we never as a family split up unless it was some wanted to do the roller coaster and others just waited off for us. We never would leave for hours and meet back up. When some siblings were old enough to drink they would maybe go off to grab that and then meet back up (I'm the youngest) but that would really be the only reason we would go separate for a bit. But again, you know your kids. Do what's comfortable for you and what you think your kids can handle  - brodysmommy  410.1 #506 2:55PM
But... But... I want to ride too! Haha we haven't had a reason for them to go alone. We usually all ride everything. My oldest are 9 and almost 8, I think they'd freak if something happened and had to walk off and couldn't see us haha. - MellieKay  193.5 #2003 1:58PM
My oldest is nine and forsnt like to hang around me. Lol now he has to wait until he is 14 - kriket2004  14.0 #8275 4:43PM
We still all wait together because we all do things we all want to do. We do have the older 2 (14 & 11) go in a ride vehicle by themselves all the time. Mine aren't ready to go on their own, by their choice. We're still working on you can run to the nearby bathroom by yourself while we wait here for you LOL We are beginning to encourage then though. It's hardest for my 14 year old because of his personality. My youngest is only 6 and there is no way I'd let her wander without one of us. - Autoalice  161.1 #2475 5:03PM

Teenagers have been going off on their own for years. But make sure they have a battery pack to recharge their phone. And have a designated meeting time and place just in case.
