I have another question for everybody, well two,how annoying am I. firstly in Disneyworld there is a Christmas store and we loved it,is there one in Disneyland or a store that sells lots of Disney Christmas things.ky next question is about big thunder mountain, have I a better chance in winning the lottery than it running soft openings from October 19 - 26, apologies again for all the questions
To answer your first question, there is a store at the end of Main Street that has a lot of Christmas things. I'm not sure if the one in New Orleans square will return this year. To answer your second question, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will not be opening until December at the very earliest, possibly as late as February. Sorry! - IDVandalSkipperCM  2025.2 #52 4:50AM
thank you,i hope they have lots of christmas stuff.shame about big thunder mountain,i wanted to compare it to paris and orlando, its an excuse to go again anyway - Manuel  1.6 #55723 4:55AM

I'm having trouble replying to my posts(stupid phone),thanks for the info abound world of colour, were there October 19 for a week so hope it's on then, and for our costumes we may go all out depending on what we can get,we'll be on part of our honeymoon from Ireland and stayin close to the parks so anywhere I can get costumes will be great, and if not we can always put our wedding clothes on for t  More...
Oh that is awesome!! There is a Target store down the street and they have a halloween area with costumes. That weekend is also the MouseWait birthday weekend. If you could make it to the birthday or an atteaction meet up you and your bride would NOT regret it. Some of the nicest folks will ever meet will be there! - HandMeAChuzzaImmaFaint  3385.2 #26 8:58PM
that sounds great,we would love that.we really cant wait,i was even in the disney store in dublin today buying some great stuff - Manuel  1.6 #55723 9:14PM

ps where is the best place to pick up costumes for the Halloween party, were going wed in late October thank you for your information
depends where you live and what you want to be.  do you want to go all out, or just wear a costume tee shirt?  more details please. - GoofyMom77  468.8 #385 8:36PM
Halloween Spirit Store if there is one in your area~ otherwise Hot Topic, Target, WalMart, Party City, Goodwill... I could go on and on! Or you can make your costume if you're crafty! Have fun! :o) - HadMatter  378.8 #502 8:44PM
I prefer to make my own :) - HandMeAChuzzaImmaFaint  3385.2 #26 8:53PM
Me too ~ I usually do some form of a "inspired-by" character costume so it's not anything like cosplay-quality but it's not just a tee shirt or something ~ I did recently hear its called Disney bounding though... so yeah, that! :o) - HadMatter  378.8 #502 8:56PM
I usually have to "frankenstien" one together. I don't own a sewing machine and still a bit too curvy for most store bought costumes.  I got lucky on the one I wore the last two years, but I needed a change. I tip my hat to you HMACIF - GoofyMom77  468.8 #385 8:59PM
thanks for the info, unfortunately im not the crafty type so lucky for me there seems to be no shortage of costume stores - Manuel  1.6 #55723 9:16PM
So awesome!! I read on your other post you're coming from Ireland!  That's on my bucket list of places to visit:) so, costumes- you can order online at spirit halloween and Amazon and target , get the address of your hotel (confirm with your hotel first) to ship there, so your not paying for international shipping.  - GoofyMom77  468.8 #385 9:53PM
thats a great idea thanks ill look into that,i would prefer to try on the outfit first to see if it fits.but i will look into it thanks, - Manuel  1.6 #55723 4:21AM
buffalo breath, spirit and party city are our go to places here in san diego. - OhanaPhoto  3011.3 #31 9:52AM

hi everybody, only a few more weeks until myself and my new bride visit Disneyland for the first time, can anyone tell me why world of colour is not scheduled for October,
I just pulled up the calendar on Disney website & it shows World of Color everyday - UTDISNEYFAMILY  847.2 #170 8:32PM
I love saying "let me pull that up." As if I have magical internet powers πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - HandMeAChuzzaImmaFaint  3385.2 #26 8:54PM
The magical thing I use is the search bar above. It's amazing what you can find using it but it gets forgotten about by so many - UTDISNEYFAMILY  847.2 #170 9:03PM
Yes, works well when posts are descriptive. A fabulous photo of, say, the Tea Cups will never be searchable if the caption just says 'LIVE' - HandMeAChuzzaImmaFaint  3385.2 #26 9:12PM
the schedule isn't complete.  look at your dates about 2 weeks out, should be right by then. - GoofyMom77  468.8 #385 8:33PM
Yes. Someone posted yesterday that they were still deciding on 1 or 2 shows a day during some of the off-season dates.  - Geekery  401.5 #470 8:34PM
Online schedule shows it's showing everyday - UTDISNEYFAMILY  847.2 #170 8:35PM
I posted without checking the calender. I just assumed it was still incomplete. Last time I checked the schedule was last week. Good to know it's updated! - GoofyMom77  468.8 #385 8:54PM
Welcome! I don't know why it is not scheduled, but I am sure someone here has info. I hope you and your wife have fun!!! - Boundin  489.3 #365 8:43PM
it only is scheduled til september but glad it will be on in october we really dont wanna miss it - Manuel  1.6 #55723 9:19PM

hi my wife to be and myself will be spending half of our honeymoon at Disneyland in mid October,it's our first time but have been to Paris and Orlando, will the evening shows be running,we already have got bad news as thunder mountain will be opening 2 days after we go home,oh and any tips on how to honeymoon Disney style, were comin from Ireland
Welcome to MW! Just FYI: during the time of October, the park hosts Mickey's Halloween Party every Tuesday and Friday night, starting in late September to Halloween night. Due to the parties, the Disneyland park does close early. Also, during that time, Fantasmic and the fireworks are only Friday-Sunday nights. - BaseballMickey_CM  5783.2 #13 4:37PM
Congrats. It depends on the days, the Halloween parties are at night at Disneyland, but World of Color should run every night at DCA! - GarnerPhotography  324.7 #666 4:37PM
Have fun and congrats - joyful_belle131  53.2 #4177 9:17AM
Take her to Blue Bayou. It's amazing food in a romantic setting! Congrats!! πŸ‘πŸŽ‰ - grantmellen  3.8 #21053 9:22AM
