This is Halloween RAK! To be entered I'd like you to tell me who your favorite minor character(s) are and why? Must have 50 mwpts, and manners as well. You may add for others as well. Deadline is: October 6th.
I had the opportunity to win this lovely vinylmation from the Dumbfamily. As well as a RAK from disneyfreak05. But in return Dumbbunny, disneyfreak05, & MrsSchnooks all received their Grape soda pin decals.
MEHlanie_Mouse & Mini_MINNIE-Maynard
DreadPiratesRogers & Sleepyhead-Paradise Pier ice cream
Thanks to all those who participated and even gave up theirs as well. It's amazing the pure generosity we all have in this community.
By far I had one of the best Disney trips to date! I got to meet so many wonderful MWers and see a lot of old friends as well. Due to this app, I have learned what great kindness everyone has, and I learned that penny's apparently get Mrs Schnooks to Twerk. It was great meeting all of you and hopefully you shall see me again in two weeks!
What's this! What's this? There's music everywhere, and crowds beware! My raks today are four of the newest happy haunts 2013 pins. Those who find shall get their choice of one. But beware I have more to share. **Heading to HM**
Mouse wait: Where some of the kindness people hangout to enjoy the love of Disney together. I got to finally meet kermitfan13 and she had this wonderful gift for me for my treatments. You all know how to make a gal cry.
RE-RAKing a RAK! Sunshine Gates started a wonderful RAK awhile back and the book is now needing to find its Fourth home. The rules of the RAK: Please have manners, tell me if the RAK is for you or someone else, and just remember that if you receive it, you must pass it on. The RAK will end tomorrow morning so that it may be put into the mail Tuesday.
I just wanted to give a huge thanks to missmimi90 and as well as AshtonLeigh. This morning I was able to make it to the post office and this is what I found waiting for me. Both of your RAKs are wonderful and both brought tears to my eyes. Thank you all who entered me into these RAKs.
Even though this isn't a live photo it's something that makes me smile. On our last trip at Disneyland, I was finally able to get my mom to take a trip down the trail to meet Dug. The minute she saw him, she started crying and finally was able to pull herself to get this great photo. I love this lady to death and I'm glad she got to meet a favorite character of ours.
Groundbreaking for the Temple of the Forbidden Eye occurred in August 1993. More than 400 Imagineers worked on its design and construction. Tony Baxter led a core project team of nearly 100 Imagineers.
Several early concepts were considered for Indy including a walk-through adventure and a high-speed mine car adventure within a temple. To avoid a long queue, Imagineers even considered using Jungle Cruise launches to shuttle guests to the loading area. The team tested key show elements in a Burbank warehouse on a full-sized elevated track that resembled a freeway. This enabled the team to test set pieces, lighting, effects, transport clearances and motion profiles.
To create space for the 0.5-mile queue area and the 50,000-square-foot show building, an area of the former "Eeyore" parking lot was demolished, and the Monorail and Jungle Cruise attractions were rerouted. As I'm sure some of you know, an old Eeyore parking sign is hidden up in the rafters high above the projection room (in the queue). The sign pays homage to the Eeyore Parking Lot.
To watch some scenes from the opening ceremony:
Happy 19th birthday Indy!
Have you been on this attraction? If so, what is your favorite part or scene?
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a magnificent Monday!
