Has to sit alone. They have extra seat belt protection for smaller children. My 4 year old rides it just fine and loves it. If you want a slower ride for him, I would say when you are about to to the turnstiles and have to choose a side, go to the right. It is slower.

If you ride on the fantasyland side it's slower and not as jerky. If you ride on the tomorrowland side it's faster and more jerky. Hope that helps - wickedale 209.2 #1532 11:45AM
