My daughter got pulled from an outside shift to a restaurant yesterday, so I think they tend to limit their outdoor time. When they are out, it's for a very short time (10-15 minutes). As you can imagine, they absolutely roast in those costumes. - TinkPen

@sandrad I prob like animal kingdom or magic kingdom best but was disappointed MK doesn't have as many rides as DL.... @authayma we tried to stay at one park and do one a day but if we finished going thru one we'd go to another or go back to one we already did... There was no wait for most of the rides or it was 5-10 min

Monterey is a much better aquarium but I still really enjoyed the long beach aquarium
Its ok...idk about missing DLR to go there...but pretty sure the Monterey Bay and Oregon Coast ones are better. - toph

Yeah the zoo is a good half day activity and so is the aquarium. Get to the aquarium before 9 since they open at 9am and the first hour is dead. It'll take you 2 1/2 hrs to do the whole thing, grab a bite at Shoreline Village and go to the zoo. Great day and a nice change of pace from DL - sandra_d
