On dapper day hubby and I were getting a portrait drawn and this gentleman walked up to us randomly and asked if he could give us something. Handed us is rolled up scroll and said. This is a drawing of Walt I did and a rubbing of his headstone. Of course we were in awe, as we looked up to thank him. He was gone in a sea of dapper men..so sad we couldn't properly thank him, but so grateful for our More...
We watched Billy Hill and the Hillbillys today, I asked a CM if he could get me their autographs, which he did. I told him that a BUNCH of us signed the petition to keep them in the park. when he came back with the autographs,he said the guys wanted to thank everyone for their support it means a lot to them all. So on behalf of the greatest musical act in frontierland. THANK YOU
THANK YOU to all the service men and woman for your service and sacrifices for our freedom. and a huge thank you to my husband Jiminygriffin ( Rob) for his 26 years of dedicated service to this great nation of ours. thank you all again
Hubby and I will be at the park next Saturday the 9th for the filming of the Christmas parade. Is anyone else going? would you like us to save some spots for anyone. thinking of sitting across from starbucks on main street.
Thank you all for putting on a great meet up, it was our first, but want be our last for sure.. And my first I park RAK I guess. I won the $100 food raffle and split it with Disneyonsie, whom I had never met but so glad I did...Thank you again
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
