My boyfriend and I are going to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary next Saturday in the parks...and I'm trying to figure out where we should go for breakfast. We never really have ate anywhere in the parks, and he decided he wanted to do the Thunder Ranch BBQ for dinner, so I get to pick breakfast. I was either thinking Storytellers Cafe for the buffet or Flo's V8 Cafe because of the delicious More...
I'm very excited for the pin event tomorrow featuring a Piece of Disneyland History: Jungle Cruise! I'll be at Julius Katz on Buena Vista Street all morning! Hope to see some Mousewaiters there. I hear something fun and exciting may be there tomorrow. ;)
Hello, my name is Jessica. I'm a CM over in DCA and have been stalking the mouse wait lounge for some time. I love Disneyland and everything related to it, so I think I can relate to a good amount of you!! Ha. I think the Disney song that will forever be my favorite would be A Whole New World from Aladdin. What're yours?
Have yourselves a very merry day!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
