We did something very exciting today... my hubby and I booked our next Disney vacation! November 20th is a long ways away but I'm so incredibly excited! Plus we will become annual passholders again when we go :-)
Hi everyone.. quick question. How are the crowds the week before Thanksgiving usually? Hubby and I are thinking of going around that time this year... I know that's a ways away but it's never too early to plan a Disney vacation right? :-)
aww today is my 1 yr MW anniversary :-) I have enjoyed this site so much... its nice to know people who love Disney just as much as I do and all the tools available are so helpful. Our AP expired last month and the withdrawals are killing me, but MW takes the edge off lol. So thank you everyone who contributes to this awesome site!
So yesterday was a very sad day...our annual passes expired, and we won't be renewing :-( I have to say that this was one of the most thrilling year of my life with tons of memories. Hopefully we'll be able to be annual passholders again, but until then I expect MW to fill that Disney void lol! Here's a little collage of our trips throughout the year.
heading to Disneyland today!! Hubby and I are celebrating our 3 year anniversary, we'll be spending 3 magical days @ the park before our APs expire on Sunday. It's going to be a very bittersweet weekend.
So my hubby and I just finished the WOC pre-fixed dinner at carthay circle and it was exquisite! We both had the rib-eye and it was absolutely divine. The service was impeccable as well. I would definitely recommend it!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
