I miss this dish!! It's definitely one of my faves!

What is the Monte Cristo  - Disneydollarpam  151.6 #2839 7:24PM
As far as I can remember Disneydollarpam, it's a ham and cheese sandwich that's fried, dusted with powdered sugar & has berry purΓ©e on the side for dipping! I'm not sure if it's made like a grilled cheese or dipped in egg like French toast... Hopefully someone can help with any corrections, but it's absolutely delicious. Be prepared to share if you do get it, it's a huge sandwich. We usually get the pomme frites to share with the table (usually 3 of us,) then we get the sandwich and I take one one/fourth of the sandwich, and if I'm starving I get a cup of gumbo and have fewer of the fries! Hope you enjoy it if you get it... They also have one that has all cheese and no meat. It's yummy, too! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ - Catski23  34.3 #6043 7:45PM
It's ham, turkey, and cheese sandwich dipped in a batter and deep fried. They give you a currant sauce or if your at the Blue  Bayou you get the currant sauce, raspberry sauce, and vanilla sauce. It's very tasty πŸ˜‹ they also have a vegetarian option of an all cheese sandwich.  - Bassplayerswife  1097.0 #196 7:55PM
It's basically like a deep fried French toast sandwich with ham and cheese.  It doesn't sound very good when you try to describe it but trust us, it's delicious!  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  706.3 #323 8:46PM
A friend of mine was able to get a gluten free version too. - MJmouse  355.2 #746 8:51PM
It's a must have with a side of  with extra sauces of course. And while we're at it throw in a side of gumbo.  - sawman911  4701.1 #35 8:42PM

Disney really should put a machine at the center of that fake tree to pump out the smell of fresh pine just the same as that main street store that pumps up the smell of the peppermint sticks and waffle cones - WaltSentMe  331.5 #833 1:27PM

if you would like the measles you can still get it for the Diamond Celebration during Labor day weekend...They will be passing out wristbands at 4am for it and you can line up and then get into Tomorrowland and get your pic licking the germ ball and getting the measles ...... - Dave  13876.5 #7 10:28PM
You will be just fine, come and enjoy! Just a little on the measles thing Disneyland was never the cause of the outbreak. It was a parent that allowed their infected child come to Disneyland and THEY infected all of those that contracted the measles. Disneyland is far and away the cleanest and most hygienic theme park you can go to. - Donaldfan_532  249.0 #1484 8:14PM
Personally?  I would never take a one-month old to a crowded park, especially during flu season. Unvaccinated?  Never. Measles is not the only disease or illness out there. You will do what you want, but I'd rather lose the money spent on my AP than risk my newborn's health and potentially, life. My opinion.  - MeridaFan  4254.8 #43 9:53PM
I wouldn't go during flu or winter time either. Too many rude people with uncovered coughs and sneezes.  - PrincessDuckie  954.6 #228 11:36PM
I have to agree with MeridaFan With California experiencing a huge spike  in whooping cough cases, this could be a potentially life threatening illness. Could you leave your baby with a trusted family member? - RadiatorSprings4Ever  3183.3 #52 11:51PM
And because there's a lot of unvaccinated kids around for now, I would not take an unvaccinated infant.  - secretagentangel  11072.1 #9 12:41AM
We took Lil One for the first time when she was 6-8 weeks old, in August. We were staying at GCH so I was prepared to hang out there the whole visit. But we decided to take a walk in the parks and we ended up staying there when hubby and the oldest were in the parks too. I sat out on all rides and found shady benches to relax and people watch. It worked out well, it wasn't crowded that weekend (weekend before Labor Day, our traditional back to school visit) so there really wasn't anyone close enough to sneeze on her. (I did have a blanket over the stroller when we were actually walking). I swear Lil One loved the people watching too! I narrated to her what was going on around her and described the rides we were sitting by. She smiled and kicked most of the visit. The Baby Centers were very helpful. It was a lovely visit!  - PrincessDuckie  954.6 #228 11:35PM
