#MHP Had so much fun last night and thought I'd pass on some tips especially for the treat trails. Lockers and strollers are your friend when collecting candy and don't want to keep carrying it all over. Somehow hubby still got turned into a pack mule though. Ooops! They now have signs announcing early Toon Town treat trails. It made for pure chaos and huge lines. We saw it and walked away. If you More...
Fireworks from Mickeys Halloween last night. It is worth getting there a little early to be in a spot to watch the pop-up ball on left side of the castle. This was our first time going to the event and it was great all night. Collecting candy in a bag felt like we were kids again. Disney made it a great and special night. A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
