I've stayed there countless times too; nothing fancy, but as close to the parks as you can get without doing Disney & sleeps many; parking can be tight, and most is in underground lot-but totally doable on the cheap. Manager is Carlos (haha-used to stay a lot when my kids were young and he'd give me his best rate-but AAA usually good). They have viewing deck for fireworks. Try HoJo too. - TinkerSchelle

All honesty I'm glad for Disney to be doing this. Yes! Is nice the saving but I think the main reason is for those that either rent it for a much higher value than what's worth making a profit and Disney doesn't get a cut. Anyways Merry Christmas MW! - Pixietink

I was there this past weekend, I wore a hoodie with a jacket over it with a scarf. Was perfect and kept me warm. I also suggest gloves or hot hands (target has disney ones in the dollar section). Have a great time :)

I can't recommend a hat highly enough! I can get buy with a little bit lighter jacket so long as I am wearing a hat. My husband kept complaining about being cold and didn't believe me about a hat. Finally bought him one and made him put it on. I got to hear I was right from him LOL I always have layers, a hat, gloves and scarf. Breathing in the super cold air messes with my asthma. - Autoalice
